Printing only certain QSL card labels

I have been using CQRLOG for several months now and really like it. But I have not been able to figure out exactly how to get the program to create only specific QSL labels. Also, I do not understand the record field syntax to properly design a QSL label. And there are no real world examples to be found anywhere.

For instance, I filter the log to show a particular QSO range. Let's say for example, all the QSO's in my log for station, V31TP on 15M CW. OK, CQRLOG shows a total of (6) six contacts. Now, I want to print all six of these labels and place them on QSL cards and send them in the mail. I cannot figure how to get only these 6 contacts into the gLabel program and print them out.

1. CQRLOG shows 6 QSO's total.
2. gLabel only shows (1) one QSO record and it happens to be the most recent QSO in the log.
3. The single label format is messed up because I cannot find current information on field syntax layout.

I have (4) four images that I want to attach here, but cannot figure out how to do that. I could send them direct to anyone interested in helping me.

Printing only certain QSL card labels

Hi Bob,

I am using the cqrlog/glabels workflow like this:
1. prefilter QSO-data (by date/contest/whatever, callsign in your case)
2. choosing "export for label printing"
3. in the following window:
3.1 i choose how may qsos should be printed on one label/qslcard (this is "3" for my normal qsl-card design), this groups the chosen counts of records for one callsign in one record for gLabel (this might be the reason, why you only see one QSO record in gLabel, if you want to have 1 qso on 1 card, choose "Print 1 QSOs on one label"
3.2 I choose which qso-records should be used (for me, its often SB/SMB or, if filtering from step 1 was specific enough: "Export all QSOs"
4. in some cases I also choose "Mark QSLs sent after export"
5. choose filename/path and click export, cqrlog part is now done

I can send you my QSL-Card design for gLabels with some example data to give you a real word example.
If you want this, just let me know your email-address.

Hi Bernd,

Hi Bernd,

I played with the syntax of the gLabel import layout and was able to at least get "some" of the fields to show up correctly on print preview. I would still like to see a complete list of what field controls what during printing. For example, I now know that ${3} is equal to the callsign of the station worked in my log and that ${1} is equal to the date of the QSO etc...

I tried your suggestion of setting the gLabel program to print one qso per label and the print preview showed up correctly. But when I changed gLable to print 3 qso's per label it only showed me a total of two qso records. My original export from CQRLOG was set for all the V31TP qso's on 15M CW. Since I worked that station once a year during the ARRL DX CW contest, it shows up in my log exactly the same for each qso. The only thing that is different in my log, is the date of each qso.

My email address is:
