Good Evening,
When I double click on a DX-Cluster spot, I get the wrong frequency if there is a mode change from CW to SSB and viceversa.
Let's make two examples:
-The pitch of my CW tone is set to 700Hz.
Ex.1
-I am listening on 7100 MHz LSB
-I double click on a spot which is in the CW mode, let's say 7015Mhz CW
-my radio goes to 7014.3 CW-U (the difference is exactly my pitch, 700Hz)
Ex.2
-I am listening on 7015 MHz CW-U
-I double click on a spot which is in the SSB mode, let's say 7100Mhz LSB
-my radio goes to 7100.7 LSB (the difference is exactly my pitch, 700Hz)
If I switch between frequencies in the same mode then the value is correct.
Note: The option 'CW AUTO MODE' in my radio is OFF (this setting allows to Key a CW tone shifted by a pitch value (700) in the case I spot a CW station while in SSB mode). Changing this setting into my radio takes no effect on this issue.
I am satisfactory running CQRLOG on:
Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa (All libraries working fine (rigctld + cwdaemon))
Yaesu FT-991A
Any suggestion?
Kind Regards

HI Luigi!
Have you tried to check "use CWR instead of CW" ( in Preferences/TRXControl) ?
Does it change situation in any way?
In my IC7300 it does not matter what pitch I use (300-900Hz). DXcluster spot double click jumps to right frequency in all cases. (I have NOT cheked "use CWR") But this is not Yaesu.

Hi Saku !
I have just tried but there is no difference.

Same here with my yaesu rig. I tried before to change from cw to cwr in cqrlog preferences and also played with settings CW BFO in radio menu. Both do not work, and trx qrg is always switched too low (cw->ssb) or too high (ssb->cw) exactly by the value of cw pitch tone.
I have found the solution:
On Yaesu FT-991A is in the menu 059 CW FREQ DISPLAY must be set to DIRECT FREQ (DIRECT FREQ/PITCH OFFSET).
I am sorry to having put this in bug section as it is evidently not a bug.
Thank you for helping.
Luigi
