CQR log and Raspberry pi

I am thinking about a Raspberry pi, my question is, will thers be continuing support and updates for the pi? I know that the current version of CQR log is in need of updating because of the new Ubuntu and Mint versions, will this update effect pi? And if not will any effort go into maintaining and updates for pi? I believe Buster is similar to Debian, nit sure how similar, but it would seem perhaps the dependencies may be different, not sure, I am no expert with this, but I lime the idea of pi because of power consumption as my shack is off grid, thanks! CQR log and Raspberry pi

Hi Tom!

Support fro RPI depends on Lazarus-ide/fpc support of RPI. And of course that SomeOneElse(™) will do the job :-)
Source code is the same (minor fixes), it just needs to be compiled with Arm processor like RPI has.

With power and speed of RPI 4 it should not be problem to compile cqrlog from source as long as lazarus and fpc (freepascal) can be loaded to RPI.
I have RPI 2 and once planned to compile cqrlog with that but RPI2 is too slow and small to do it (takes ages to compile).
