2 questions from a newbie

Good Morning!
Two questions from a newbie, please be kind. I am not seeing these answers anyplace in the docs or FAQ.

1) There are two ham's in the house and one linux server. Can CQRLOG be user specific, and keep our own separate log files?

2) My QRP HF radio is a XIEGU G1M. Yes, it's cheap, but it works :-) Any chance of getting it to interface with CQRLOG for digital work?

Thank you, any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2 questions from a newbie

1) If you select to save data locally, by default CQRLOG puts all of its data in your home directory (~/.config/cqrlog). So if you use separate logins, the 2 hams won't interfere with each other.

2) CQRLOG relies on WSJT-x (or equivalent) for digital work, so that's a question for another program.

1) There is no need to have separate linux login users for two hams. We have here one linux login user and separate logs created in (same) cqrlog for OH1KH and OH1KJ (xyl):
Works perfectly because cqrlog carries all settings with log data. If you create another log you can use different callsign, all login/passwords and other information there.

2) New Hamlib (rigctld) supports Xiegu G90, X6100 and X108G. This means that cqrlog works with them, You only need to have Hamlib version that supports your rig (what ever it is) and then cqrlog supports it.
It is the same with fldigi/sstv/wsjt-x if Hamlib supports rig those programs also support it as hamlib/rigctld is the "translator" between rig and used program.

In case of fldigi/sstv/wsjt-x you need also audio in/out connections between Xiegu and PC. I have understood some kind of expansion port "CE-19" is made for that.
