Master for contest

Hi everybody,

I'm just wondering if there is a way to build a kind of a master log for contests.

Background: When I want to take part in a contest I have to create a new log for that one. Doing so I have to setup all the settings I had before. Including rig, name, address, and so on......
I would like to do that only once and when the time comes for the next contest just copy from the master. Just like "open -> save as"

Is there any way to do that?

Hi!
When you create new log you can copy settings from another log giving log number to copy from.
If your Cqrlog is older and without that selection you can use Utils/ configuration/export to create settings file.
When new log is created, but not yet open, you can use Utils/configuration/import from that file to get same settings.

I have log called "contest" first I make it empty Qso list/select all/delete qso. That can delete max 500 qsos at time. If there are more it must be repeated until log is empty.
Then work contest and when done I make cabrillo or edi export to send the log and adif export to move qsos to my common log.
Then I can again delete all qsos and start new contest.

Note that deleting qsos saves settings. If you delete log you delete settings too.
