crtbegin.o crtend.o missing; build fails

Hello:

I was trying to fetch loc_testing and recompile since I couldn't upload to Clublog.

Unfortunately, when I tried to compile, I got two errors about crtbegin.o and crtend.o missing and that linking would probably fail. Evidently it did. I found a post where an individual had encountered a similar problem, but never solved it. https://www.cqrlog.com/comment/8302#comment-8302. I've never used Lazarus-GUI and couldn't figure out how to make that work.

I tried the following:

New Stable Versions

Hello,

I have used CQRLOG for several years and am a great fan. Recently eqsl made a change to their download ADIF file that caused CQRLOG to freeze when trying to parse it. Saku quickly had a fix (rev 119) and was great at helping me to get a working build (albeit 32-bit) on a Raspberry Pi. Saku is a real asset to the CQRLOG community.

CQRLOG on Linux Mint 21.2

Hello all,

I've read a few threads regarding CQRLOG on Linux Mint and to be honest this is really a major PITA.

I have unterstood, that it can run standalone with MariaDB and without MySQL, but right now, there seems no way to install MariaDB without MySQL on Linux Mint 21.2 or at least I don't know how.

When I do this:
sudo apt install mariadb-server mariadb-client

freezes after downloading eQSL data

Hi

CQRLOG freezes after downloading data from eQSL. Amazingly works perfectly uploading data, and also down and uploading to LOTW. THe only options are wait wait wait ... or force exit.

If I run it in debug mode, the data seems to be downloaded properly, the errors are prepared BUT freezes when the data should be shown, and the last lines shown in the debug are the following:

update cqrlog_main set eqsl_qsl_rcvd = 'E'
,eqsl_qslrdate = '2023-10-01'
where id_cqrlog_main = 6394

Finding, but not deleting, duplicates from log

Cqrlog has option to remove duplicates from log. "Qso list/File/Remove dupes from the log"
But sometimes you may have only need to seek duplicates without removing them right away.

For this you can use command "mysql" using command terminal. It might be better than "QSO list/Filter/SQL console", but both ways will work.

If you have selected "Save log data to local machine" you have to start Cqrlog first and look what log number you want to use.
When Cqrlog is running open command terminal and give:
