QTH Locator Database

Hi all,

for VHF/UHF/SHF, 6m, EME etc operators it would be nice to have QTH locator database which shows known locators for a callsign. Perhaps in the "Details" window. I wouldn't recommend to put a locator automatically in the locator field because there are many stations who have more than one locator.

I'm currently managing the QTH locator database for Win-Test. It's a database containing mainly (but not only) stations and their locators in Europe and adjacent countries who are active in VHF/UHF/SHF contests. This could be a start for a CQRLOG locator database.

SQL Console export to ADIF?

I've been thinking of participating in the SKCC anniversary as a K3Y op and the log submission is required in ADIF. After having hacked up a nice SQL query to extract exactly the fields needed for the log submission, I find that only CSV and HTML are the supported formats. Oops!

May I suggest that ADIF be added to the export formats of the SQL console?

Multiple callsign support?

As CQRlog has multiple profiles, I am curious if support for two or more callsigns could be incorporated? For example, I once held KA0RNY and since late 1998 have held N0NB. If a relation could be established that between date X and date Y callsign A was used and that from date Y to date Z callsign B was used, it would tie my log together nicely.

Or, am I better off maintaining two logs? If so, what is the best way? Can I specify a log directory on the cqrlog command line or must I have a complete duplicate CQRlog installation?

Rotator control

It would be very nice to have a rotator control window with the option of automatically aiming the antenna when grabbing a spot from the cluster window.

I've been using CQRLog as my primary logging program for about a year now, and am continually impressed with the amazing job you guys are doing! Thank you for all of your hard work!
