I am a new user so this may be something in the help file, but I have not found an answer. It is my understanding that LOTW only recognizes FT4 as mode MFSK with a sub-mode of FT4. Unless that has been changed, how do I enter a FT4 QSO so that it will be accepted into CQRLOG and will successfully upload into LOTW?
Thanks and 73,
Mike, AE8U
Hi Mike.
Simply use wsjt remote (ctrl+j) and when logging window of wsjtx opens press ok button.
Qso is transferred to Cqrlog. You see it as FT4 qso there but when you upload it to lotw, eqsl or export as adif Cqrlog does the job and changes it to mode/submode. Not just with FT4, but all other modes too that require mode/submode by adif.org standards.
Of course you must have quite new Cqrlog, all 2.6.0 sould work 2.5.2 I am not sure for all modes but you can check it doing adif export from your qsos and check the result file with text editor.
If there are mode and submode tags they exist also in lotw and eqsl uploads.
