Could someone help me with the best way to populate the eqsl_sent and date fields. I have been a previous eqsl user and want to have the fields in cqrlog match the previously uploaded qso's from my previous log programme (dxkeeper). I have kept dxlab (dxkeeper) up to date so importing from there if I can get fields to match is an option.

Hi Greame,
go to File -> Preferences -> Visible column and check eQSL qsl send date. Then click to OK. Now you should see that in columns list in QSO list window and NewQSO window.

Hi Petr,
Thanks for the response and for making your software available. I am trying it out for the first time as I was waiting for eqsl.cc support before I committed to it. So far I am very impressed.
I have downloaded all my received eqsl's and populated the qslr field with ease. I am not so sure what to do about the upload. Apart from the last 10 or so QSO's I had already uploaded every qso to eqsl.cc so I did not want to do a duplicate upload. I wondered if there was some way to download my sent box from eqsl and update the eqsl_qsl_sent and eqsl_qslsdate fields so that from there on I only update eqsl with new qso's
I hope this is a better explanation of my problem. BTW I see that OK2CQR is already in my log :-)

Hi Graeme, what I did was make sure I was up to date on all the sent qso's for eqsl,I thn click file and click open QSO list, then i go into preferences, click group edit then select field and select "eqsl sent" and hit the apply button, all qso,s get a "Y" in the eqsl sent column, I did an upload everything worked out ok no errors like I got with DX labs. so far so good, HTH. Oh I see what you want to do now, that is a good question, I wonder what would happen if you resent them, maybe an error, have you tried it yet?? Or maybe a bunch of e-mails saying that you already have that qso, don't know. hmmmm... Tom K8WDX

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the response. Yes I was concerned about eqsl.cc if they suddenly had a duplicate of my whole log uploaded. maybe they can handle this as it must have happened to them before but your suggestion of filling in the field manually is a good idea. I was hoping to be able to populate the eqsl date sent field though but it would not be the end of the world if I can't.
I am hampered by being a new user of CQRLOG and am not yet aware of the SQL possibilities etc. and I find more clever things each time I fiddle with it.

As my dxkeeper log was up to date I simply exported it as an adif file and imported it to CQRLOG. All the fields came across with the correct data. I realise that it won't fix the problem for those who do not have a record of eqsl sent dates anywhere but for me it was a 100% success.

Hi Greame,
eQSL server removes dupes from your log while uploading, but there is easier way. Use filter to select all qso you've already sent, then go to File -> Group edit. Simple window will appear.
In first combobox select eQSL_qsl_sent and in the secont select Y. Click to OK. Now all QSO will be marked as uploaded to eQSL.
Next time when you will upload to eQSL, program will use only QSO which has not been uploaded.
You are right, we had QSO almost year ago. Hope to see you on the air, again!

Hi all.
I also set Y inn the eQSL_qsl_sent field.
But eventhough every qso's in log were sent to eQSL.
I think CQRLOG is checking for the "eqsl_qsldate" field also.
So then You have to set this field to i.e today-date for those qso's not uploaded to eQSL yet.
Anyway, eQSL will answer with alot of dupes only the very first time You do an upload.
Result will be eQSL_qsl_sent=Y and eqsl_qsldate=date-of-today after upload.
The author might clarify/verify this.
