Hello petr I tried it on my notebook ubuntu precise..
cqrlog version 1.4.1. rig control is not working .. what should I do??

According to:
/usr/bin/rigctld -m 302 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4532
rig_open: error = IO error
It can not open the serial port.

sorry I do not understand the answer petr Member dial up?? Ubuntu is still not clear ... open usb-serial thing I can do. only mint 12 opens rigctl precise because ubuntu is not it???

as far as I know in Ubuntu, you have to be in dialout user group to have access to serial ports.
If you put this into console:
sudo usermod -G dialout flavio57
and log out/log in, TRX control should work.

When you installed Ubuntu, you've create two users? It seems that flavio57 is the second and can't increase rights with sudo.
