With the radio conneced to the computer via USB port and port is identified as /dev/ttyUSB0 then TRX Control works properly.
If I turn the radio off and back on, the computer renames the port to /dev/ttyUSB1. When I change Preferences Device to /dev/ttyUSB1, TRX Control will not work??
TRX Control not work on USB1. It will only work on USB0. I have to reboot the computer to make the port change back to USB0.
FLDiGi will connect with either USB0 OR USB1, but CQRLOG will not connect unless the port is USB0. So it seems Hamlib is working okay.
Any ideas? Is it my radio, computer or a bug?

After you changed it , did you try the "Refresh TRX?ROT Control" option under the file menu in the "new QSO" window ?

Yes I did try that multiple times.
Run
cqrlog --debug=1 >> log.txt
