Sorry if this issue has already been talked about but i couldn't actually find anything and there doesn't seem to be a reference to use of this field in "preferences"
I am using CQRLOG v1.7.3 with Ubuntu 14.04.LTS
I don't know if I have inadvertently changed my configuration of CQRLOG but I have just noticed that if I edit the contents of the "Comment to callsign" field for a QSO it is changed for all QSOs with that station. Is that supposed to happen? I didn't notice this until very recently. The problem for me is that I have been using this field to hold details about the station which may change over time (usually his rig but alternatively the name of a contest if appropriate). If it is intended to happen I can't think of a use for the field which would be any good to me!
For information, I use the "Comment to QSO" field to record details of my rig, which can change from QSO to QSO.

Hi Chris,
comment to callsign is related to callsign you have qso with. If you enter something into that field when you have qso with e.g. me, next time the note will appear when you will qso QSO with me again.
Comment to QSO is related only to current QSO, I use it to store information about his rig, antennas, weather etc.

Hi Petr,
Following on from Chris's post, is it possible to edit the "Comment to Callsign" field? I've got a spurious comment to a callsign that I want to remove, but I can't find a way of doing it, unless I'm missing something.
Many thanks
Paul G4LNA
Hi Paul,
you are not missing anything. There is no way how to remove these comments except SQL console, but it's not comfortable. I'll add this feature to CQRLOG.
