QRZ/HamQTH lookup from Contest windows 2.0.5 (029)

I am not sure how this is supposed to work, but if I write in a callsign in Contest window and to one tab, the QSO windows will do a lookup in QRZ/HamQTH.
If this callsign was incorrect, and I correct it, it dont do a new lookup, and the values from the previous will remain.

I expected a new lookup to be done.

I have not downloaded/installed test version so I do no know are the documentation files there.

Direct from "doc":
" RECOMMENDATION: Make new log for each contest, do not allow qrz/hamqth search. It slows things."

It is supposed NOT to use lookup while contest. What matters is do we have had qso before during this contest and
that can be seen without QRZ.

If you make mistake with callsign press double ESC to wipe it out and type again. When you exit with space(if selected) or tab then new log seek (qrz seek also) is done.

It is faster than focusing first callsign field with mouse click and then wiping wrong letters out and retyping right ones.

Please find documentation (if not included) from https://github.com/ok2cqr/cqrlog
The files "CqrlogAdditions2.pdf" and "README.OH1KH" will explain what have been done.

QRZ/HamQTH lookup from Contest windows 2.0.5

Hi!
After good night sleep I have consider to make small change.
Maybe 1xESC should return focus to callsign field and the cursor to the end of call for possible fix, while 2xESC still clears callsign completely.
When exiting from callsign field a new log seek (also qrz, not recommended) is done always if call has changed.

I will put that to my "to do" list.

The idea of "contest"-form is to be fast " non mouse" way to enter a qso while keeping also contest serial numbers in order.

I was not aware of this 2xESC
Works great like it it is.
When using this it still do lookup in the main QSO windows, and delete the lookup result when 2xESC.

Thanks, you are doing a great job for a lot af hams.

Hi !

In "normal life" 1xESC (at NewQSO form) stops CW if it is transmitting and 2xESC clears all.
Same with Contest form.

Now I made change to contest form where 1xESC stops CW and returns cursor to the end of previously typed callsign for fixing.
2xESC still clears whole callsign field.
In both ways new callsign seek from log (+qrz, not recommended in contest) is done when leaving callsign field.

I made pull request to Petr. Meanwhile this code can be found github.com/oh1kh/cqrlog.

This Contest form rases some focusing issues that I could not resolve. Maybe Petr can do it.
How ever it works anyway...
