I loaded a drive with FreeBSD and got the cqrlog port and installed. it starts up just fine then throws the MySQL errors out. from mysql.err file :::

Did the Update via the Script.
rotctld is not activated in the Preference, so it should not be started.
But cqrlog now tries to connect to rotctld on every start and fails. Enabling it wit Hamlib Dummy makes no difference.

Hello again,
I'd like to suggest two features in "UDP Log Messages".
1. I'am missing a feature like in N1MM "Send Radio Data".
I need the CAT for my local connected rig and the AMP should get data via UDP.
2. The AMP is capable to read UDP data for radio 1 up to 4.
CQRLOG can handle two rigs. So I'd say: radio 1 and 2 is enough to read :-)
Is this worth a try?
Kind regards,

Have it installed, but keep getting this message error.
Any help most appreciated.

Hi Saku,
No problems with CQRLOG for years... but i had to do a fresh install of MINT 22 on my NUCi3.
I installed CQRLOG and mariaDB. And it seemed fine. I left the default values for UDP.
But nothing shows up in the CQ-monitor panel.
Previously I used JTDX, but am now using wsjtx 2.7.0.
Have I forgotten some important setting? Thanks for your help.

I have occasionally gotten access errors after using the filter function - got one today after a very simple sequence. Tried it again and no error!? Random?
I note that there are templates for a variety of QSO parties. The Virginia (USA) QSO Party does not have one. I know what is the format and would like to add it to my version of CQRLOG. If it proves acceptable to the QSO party sponsor, I can ask you to add it to CQRLOG for all users.
How do I add a custom template-format? Note, I'm good at soldering and great with an oscilloscope but have not programmed in decades. If that is needed, we're done.

As per the title: I fixed the EQSL error with your help.
So all seems well. The log (complete?) was automatically uploaded to Hamqth.com with no issues.
After that, CQRlog started to do the same to Clublog. Now Clublog acted up and after changing some entries, says: check your internet connection.
So, I exported my log from CQRlog to an .adi file which I uploaded to Clublog via their website.
I was messing with a log. I decided to try a LOTW sync. I now have a long list of Qs that are not in the log. The Qs are actually not in the log. I tried to look for the LOTW download, but I have no clue. I poked around the ~/.config/cqrlog without success (lack of knowledge??).
I looked in the log that I imported from, they are not there as well.
Spending more time researching.. not making much progress :-(

Hello,
I attempted to install Alpha_135 on my Linux Mint 21.3 system using the newupdate.sh script. I selected the cqr2.zip binary. I encountered the following issues:
1. Had to change the URL in the wget lines in the script file to point to
https://github.com/OH1KH/CqrlogAlpha/blob/main/compiled/cqr2.zip
and

Hi Folks,
I wanted to look at how CQRLog deals with card submissions.
Basically I need the ability to create a list (for me and the card checker) and an ADIF file for the league to submit paper QSLs. It would be cool to find all of the QSL cards that I have for countries, bands & modes that I can submit to the card checker.
In that same vain, It would be cool to get a list of Qs that I have worked, but not confirmed. I know I have a bunch of SK hams or managers that don't reply.
Any help to get back up to speed would be great!!

Here's the thing. Through the years a bunch (about 25) QSO's never made it to my digital logbook.
Now, every time I download from EQSL from within the QSO list, I get an error telling me some QSO's are not in my log.
I checked the .adi file that comes with the errormessage and I know for certain that I made these QSO's.
I could enter these manually but it seems a bit cumbersome.
So my question is: can I simply import error.adi from the QSO list? and will they automaticcaly merge?
If not, what would be the best way to handle this?
On my shack-pc (debian bookworm 64bit), I encounter the following problem:
when cqrlog is started, in the new QSO-window there is a default value of 2113.0000 for the frequency, which I cannot change!
cqrlog alpha 134 / 135 gtk2
I use remote database
What could be the cause for that?

Hello,
How to move all data from local database saved in ./config/cqrlog to a new computer by using local mariadb server.
I created with success a local mariadb server with empty log but I would like to retrieve all data from my previous log in an old PC.
I know I could import ADIF file but I am afraid to loose call information, station profiles,..
Any help will be appreciated.

FYI,
The "New QSO" Mode drop-down lists "THROB" as a mode. It's "THRB" in the ADIF Spec from at least V3.0.2 onwards.
Thanks for such an AWESOME program!

OK, I have been away from Linux for a long time (work stuff).
Well, things may change back now that I'm retired. I just installed Ubuntu on WSL.
The radio is an Elecraft K4D. Can I use the IP address for TRX Control? if not under WSL, how about directly?
How do I know what my USB devices are? Like my MORTTY devices?
The K4 does have a USB cable that I can use for audio and some keying.
I know things like VNC, RustDesk and etc are available.
Just want to start playing again in Linux. I know that TRLinux is available. I

Don't you have to store your QRZ username and password someplace in CWRLOG so that it can connect and pull in contact information (when logging new QSOs)? I can't find any place to do that.
I have clones of both the old repo (branch loc_testing) and the new CqrlogAlpha repo (branch main). If I cd into the old one and type 'make clean; make cqrlog_qt6' it compiles just fine. If I then cd into the new repo and enter the same command, it runs for a while and then I get
/home/gwb/OSS/src/CqrlogAlpha/src/dLogUpload.pas(12,3) Fatal: (10022) Can't find unit lNet used by dLogUpload
Fatal: (1018) Compilation aborted

Hi,
i plan on importing old call logs from other online sources.
Sometimes i go out and about /M or /P
Any pros or cons on setting up different profiles?
How does everyone else handle this?
Hi Everyone,
after many years of battling with health issues, i have finally gone back to opensuse and installed cqrlog.
Last time i was here was 15 years ago.
I trust that everyone is doing well and enjoying the hobby.
Look forward to having you in the log.
Best Regards

Hello.
I have Ubuntu 22.04 and hamlib 4.5 . I tried to install latest one 4.6.1 with building it from a scratch (not a first time to make compile) and everything went well. Unfortunately when I use dpkg-query -l hamlib command I receive infor that still active is version 4.5 and no sign or trace of version 4.6.1.
So I would like to know how to solve this problem and also how to check if latest version is installed and active on my computer ?

qrz xml service lookup not working has anyone found this to be a problem ? hamqth lookup works fine
I can tell you exactly how I got it. I used fldigi in XmlRpc mode. I made a PSK31 contact and CQRLOG logged it as such. I then used CQRLOG to "Upload QSOs to LoTW web page". When the QSO was confirmed in LoTW, I "Download and process data from LoTW website" and got the error.
Here's the ADIF export for the QSO from CQRLOG:
ADIF export from CQRLOG for Linux version Alpha_(134)_QT6
Copyright (C) 2025 by Petr, OK2CQR and Martin, OK1RR
Internet: http://www.cqrlog.com
Ubuntu 24.04 running X11
mariadb V15.1
QT6 V6.4.2
CQRLOG Alpha_(134)_QT6
In the New QSO window, it allows me to change the widths and order of the fields of previous QSOs. However, if I close and reopen CQRLOG, then the fields are back to some default width and ordering.
If this is NOT a bug, then how do I make my changes permanent?
Thanks!
