Hi,
when I try to change the profile (new QSO-Window) and switch to remote mode (Ctrl-J), then the profile is reset to the value selected in the preferences.
This behavior is different to local mode, where I can change profile for each new QSQ. I think this is not inteded.
Different profiles are needed in remote mode for example, when different profile parameters apply to different bands.
Also the WSJTX CQ Monitor window opens very tiny, so it has to resized on each switch to remote mode
cqrlog used is release 2.5.1 (001)

Hi!
I have noticed that suddenly I cannot manually import DXCC data from the .config/cqrlog/ctyfiles -folder. It gives a warning "Access violation" with risk for data corruption. Happens on both 2.5.2 and 2.6.0, cant recall this happening before.
Automatic updates seem to work.

I recently updated from beta version 117 to 119. I am having a problem with filtering the QSO list. No filters work except the date. Is this a bug in this particular version, or do I need to look elsewhere. Is there a fix? I have also noticed that DXCC tables want to refresh every time I open the program, even if I opened it 10 minutes prior.
Thanks

Just a word of warning to folks upgrading from Ubuntu 23.xx to 24.04. I have gone from version 20.04 through a whole series of upgrades without the installer disturbing my CQRLog installation. But 24.04 was different. I tried to launch and kept getting an access violation that I hadn't seen since I went to version 2.6.0 of CQRLog. After some head scratching, I realized that the Xubuntu installer overwrote my executable with 2.5.2. I cloned the source code and recompiled, this time to 2.6.0 build 119. All is well again. Caveat emptor!
I know there are some alpha or beta versions of 2.6.0, but it has fallen awfully silent over the last couple of months.
2.5.2 is still the latest official release according to the website (since 2021). And the last update on 2.6.0 (build 119) is already over 7 months old.
For me, 2.6.0 works fine, so I wonder when 2.6.0 will become the official release?
Furthermore, the forum is bombarded with spam, which leads me to believe it is not actively moderated anymore.
Installing CQRLOG in Ubuntu 24.04.
Install without errors.
Trying to run it and got error in mysql.err file:
With the latest Alpha (126), Lotw Up or Download freezes CQRLOG. Export and Sign did work, but hitting the Upload Button instantly freezes CQRLOG. Same with the Download Button. Did two Debug Logs with Debug=1 but in the Logs it says Debug Level =0?
Logs attached.

4/26 I tried new Ubuntu 24.04 Noble.
And imported some old logs of my domestic expedition.
But unfortunately nautilus was gone away and OS could not run in the M2.SSD.
And now came back again to 22.04 Jammy with cqrlog folder.
To run it takes 18 secs on Noble and the second Jammy.
I threw out "cqrlog" folder, and newly imported log and old ini.
But I could not restore the previous environment.
ini file shows only:
[Profiles]
Use=1
Selected=-1
Locator=1
QTH=1
RIG=0
My QTH Profle has 5 QTHs.
I installed the MariaDb. All good now.
Just install CQRLOG. Upon running CQRLOG for the first time get this message: MySQL could not be started.
Log file shown below. Please assist.
Thank you for any help.
Hello everyone,
I cannot validate 3D2CCC (Conway Reef) correctly. Despite several manipulations by editing the contact I remain on the DXCC Fiji.
CQRLOG version 2.5. JTDX 2.2.159 also gives the same false information.
If anyone has a solution ?
With thanks.

Running latest git (loc_testing) - the new DXCC&grid background makes them unreadable if you are using a dark theme - the light letters on the light background don't have any contrast. The code needs to either change the font color or just modify slightly the original background(XOR 0x101010???), not set it absolutely.

When working roving stations that are on multiple grid lines (2 or 4) LoTW accepts multiple comma separated girds in the grid field. It would be nice to have that ability in CQRLOG. At this time I can only enter a single grid.
A little glitch. There is a Special Callsign in FT8 on the Air. BV400. Yes, Four, Zero, Zero.
This Callsign doesn't show up in the Wsjt-x CQ-Monitor.

I selleted "print 2 QSOs on one label".
I found many blank commas between first data and second one.
In fact my csv has 21 columns between them, in the case of one QSO that shows 31 blank columns.
Do you expect all checked ?
I usually read in Calc and add some columns as needed and saved as csv again, then unneeded columns are lost.

I'm unable to get CQRLOG to start due to a MySQL error. I am running Ubunti 22.04 LTS. Any thoughts? Tnx 73 de AE4WX
Here is the mysql.err file:
I am running version 2.6.0_(125) 2024-03-14. When using the contest window and tabbing between fields the software is activating voice memories in my rig. When I save the contact the program briefly activates rig to TX mode for a fraction of a second.
Is it possible to directly update my older version of CQRLog to the latest Alpha version 124 or 125 using the instructions from Saku's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_QLQhQyFVg)?
Has anyone made this change and has it been stable and working properly?
I used Calc before I knew CQRlog. Mainly domestic QSOs.
Now I try to import them to CQRlog.
I have got a PERL converting script by help of AI.

Why not today? also 2024-03-20.
But today in 2024-03-14.
CQRLOG is wonderful! Thank you everyone for all the work that goes into making it so good.
At the end of logging, I export the current session ADI file to LoTW and eQSL. It is not difficult, but maybe this session upload could be automated to LoTW, eQSL, QRZ etc?
The closing backup of the whole ADI works very well, as does the QSO upload to Clublog.
I am a new user so this may be something in the help file, but I have not found an answer. It is my understanding that LOTW only recognizes FT4 as mode MFSK with a sub-mode of FT4. Unless that has been changed, how do I enter a FT4 QSO so that it will be accepted into CQRLOG and will successfully upload into LOTW?
Thanks and 73,
Mike, AE8U
This is NOT meant to be a flame.
The last "Official" release of CQRLog is ver. 2.5.2 and is now over 3 years old. There are updates via GitHub, but if I was new potential user, I would probably only install the "official" release which is quite old now. In fact, if I didn't know any better and was a noob, I would just think, CQRLog is a dead program since it's last release date is SO old.
