I tried Callbook --> database update. I have not another correct dxcc_ref, so cannot import it.
In searching KH8 in dxcc_ref box, I can find WE9G/KH8.
What can I do ?

I have several log entries that are blank under the LoTW sent column. There are a number of them that have been sent, and are shown on the LoTW website. I can find no way to edit that entry for any QSO entry in CQRLOG. When I select edit QSO, there is no editable field for QSL sent. I would like to request that first of all I can sort by any viewable column in the QSO list. That would group together all of the LoTW entries that are blank in the sent column.
Had everything working fine on Mint 22, then updated to the latest alpha version and get Access Violation ran CQRlog in debug and it looks like there is a port issue, I am part of the dialout (I checked) and CQRlog was working before the update, everything else seems to be working fine, using a Timewave Navigator.
Cqrlog Ver:alpha_(130)_Gtk2 Date:2024-08-12
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Table 'cqrlog_main' already exists.
When i boot cqrlog, the panel for creating a named log pops up. There is no log listed.
When I try to create one, I get the error on line one above.
I don't know where to find the db or table to delete it.
Mariadb is running.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I think I have an installation issue but I cannot resolve it. When I try to upload QSO's to LoTW, the selecting works fine, and the file is created, but then It gives the message "Signing adif file..." and freezes at that point. If I open TQSL and ask it to sign and upload the file that CQRLOG created it uploads fine. Any ides what the issue is?

Hi there,
I'm a total newcomer to the world of Linux and CQRlog, I managed to install it and run it, but the CAT connection to my FT710 creates a lot of head scratches.
I started it in terminal and get the following messages:
volker_keller@volker:~$ cqrlog
Gtk-Message: 19:42:55.672: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
(cqrlog:4604): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 19:42:56.383: ../../../gobject/gsignal.c:2613: signal 'populate-popup' is invalid for instance '0x37515e0' of type 'GtkCellView'
I have a new installation of CQRLOG running in Ubuntu 24.04 on a Raspberry Pi. I have installed MariaDB and want to use it for my database. However, when I start CQRLOG, it gives me an error that MySQL could not be started. It also has an additional dialog box that states Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection: Server connect failed. (Which I assume is because I do not have MySQL installed.) How do I get CQRLOG to look for MariaDB instead of MySQL?
Thanks and 73,

New computer, new OS, Mint 22, mysqld errors, takes me to a mysql screen that is looking for a password,
Can't paste the window....
Hi
I was working with Cqrlog & Jtdx & GridTracker with no issue under Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. Being bored of Jtdx and the lack of updates I decided to move to a recent version of wsjtx.
So I installed wstjx and I realised that a new version of hamlib was also installed. The old version of hamlib is not deleted (I do not know how and I found no hint to do so).
Hi, new installation of Linux Mint 22. moved .Config/cqrlog from old LM 21
Serial Port I have on ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1. Below are the results from the console. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help in advance, 73 Tom SP4TB

I saw this error when I tried to export csv for printing.
TMySQL57Connention : Errpr executing query: Incorrect string value: '\xD0' for column `cqrlog001`.`qslexport`.`qth` at row 1.
What should I do in ver 129 (2024-07-30) ?
I upgraded from Linux Mint 21.3 to 22. After I did CQRLOG reverted back to 2.5 so I upgraded to Alpha (128) gtk2 0wpm which works as it should except that when I try to upload to LOTW I get this error:
/usr/local/bin/tqsl: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk3u_core-3.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Sign failed somehow. The exit code was 127 it should be 0 (zero)
Try to find reason for this
Do I just need to load libwx_gtk3u_core-3.0.so.0 to solve this? If so where can I find it?
I tried to upgrade my version 2.6.0 (001) gtk2 to 2.6.0 alpha 126. I read, but didn't fully understand exactly what Saku meant on the upgrade page about the following:
I have been using cqrlog for a long time.
I do *NOT* use a 'local' database because I access the database from more than one computer.
I've just moved to a new system after the old one died - but I have a non-bootable image of the disk, so all my files are okay.
The new system is Debian 12 (Bookworm) with the KDE desktop
I installed Maria-DB server and client.
I then installed the Debian package for CQRLOG which is version 2.5.2
When I try to run it I get the following message.
Hi,
Just compiled Saku's alfa_(129)_qt5 version. Working fine. But in other 2 or 3 threads I can read about dark theme. How to get it? I can't see any dark theme option to set in preferences. It must be built with any parameter or am I blind?, Hi hi

I am running CQRLOG 2.5.2 on Ubuntu 22.02.4. I am trying to change the "LoTW QSL sent" value on both to "N" so I can get them uploaded to LoTW. I am doing the following:
1. Select both QSOs in the QSO List
2. Select "Group Edit"
3. Select "LoTW QSL Sent" in "Field" - Note, "Y" is displayed as the value
4. Select "N" for the new value
5. Click on "Apply" - Note, receive the "Edit done! (Press Cancel to exit)" message
6. Press "Cancel"
Hi all,
As my title states, I am unable to upload to Clublog from CQRlog 2.5.2.
I tried debug but it tells me nothing.
In my opinion the programmed URL for Clublog could be wrong because it changed in all the years since I first started using CQRlog.
I tried to change it a bit using Hexedit but to no avail.
At first I am not that handy with Hexedit and more important, I would not know the proper URL anyway.
I usually use JTDX, and recently installed WSKT-X to make it compatible with SuperFox.
Both are CAT controlled, but what is the best way to switch between them?
I could rewrite the preferences each time, but I'm sure there must be a better way.
I think it would be possible to create Log002 and start WSJT-X with those preferences. Then I would import Log002 into Log001, but are there any other ways?
Is there a way? If I forget to hit control-j, then sometimes I don't notice until after I've missed logging some Qs.
new QSO window:
There is a button, wich shows that the user has esql...
(like qrz button)
(where get this information?)
Please ad a function, when push the Button,
then open the browser with URL
https://eqsl.cc/Member.cfm?{callsign}
so i can lookup, when does the om his last login
(many om register and upload no logs... this should be filtered... anywhere...)

New install, tried both.. via programmanager and via terminal.. ( same problem)
After startup I print all the nessesary info in preferences... but after I have closed it, it is forgotten... and I can start over and over and over again... version 2-5-2.. ( 001) Program remember all the contacts..( pyh..). but is not saving data in preferences.... Linux LMDE 6... fresh install ( still hot), and all updates are OK
Hi,
when I try to change the profile (new QSO-Window) and switch to remote mode (Ctrl-J), then the profile is reset to the value selected in the preferences.
This behavior is different to local mode, where I can change profile for each new QSQ. I think this is not inteded.
Different profiles are needed in remote mode for example, when different profile parameters apply to different bands.
Also the WSJTX CQ Monitor window opens very tiny, so it has to resized on each switch to remote mode
cqrlog used is release 2.5.1 (001)

Hi!
I have noticed that suddenly I cannot manually import DXCC data from the .config/cqrlog/ctyfiles -folder. It gives a warning "Access violation" with risk for data corruption. Happens on both 2.5.2 and 2.6.0, cant recall this happening before.
Automatic updates seem to work.

I recently updated from beta version 117 to 119. I am having a problem with filtering the QSO list. No filters work except the date. Is this a bug in this particular version, or do I need to look elsewhere. Is there a fix? I have also noticed that DXCC tables want to refresh every time I open the program, even if I opened it 10 minutes prior.
Thanks

Just a word of warning to folks upgrading from Ubuntu 23.xx to 24.04. I have gone from version 20.04 through a whole series of upgrades without the installer disturbing my CQRLog installation. But 24.04 was different. I tried to launch and kept getting an access violation that I hadn't seen since I went to version 2.6.0 of CQRLog. After some head scratching, I realized that the Xubuntu installer overwrote my executable with 2.5.2. I cloned the source code and recompiled, this time to 2.6.0 build 119. All is well again. Caveat emptor!
