AM

Hi,
it will be very nice to see. When i try enter callsign to cqrlog person which is in aircraft "callsign/AM" cqrlog ignore prefix and tells "Unknow country".
Can you make turn off prefix recognize after "/" when "AM" is present?

Re: AM

"callsign/AM" - cqrlog ignores prefix and tells "Unknown country" - it is only correct way to handle /AM stations. The same applies to /MM.

OK

OK clear! When i write qso to log i must manually type right dxcc prefix.

Now all is clear. TNX :)

Re: AM

I am afraid that this is a pretty bad misunderstanding.

There is ONLY right way to handle /AM and /MM correctly - to ignore the prefix at all. SQ5ABC/AM has NO DXCC, no zones, it is NOT VALID for DXCC, WAZ etc. Of course, it does not count for WPX etc. The QTH can't be verified and is disputable (ambiguous). Everything what you type into DXCC prefix is only your own remark, there is nothing official.

The same applies to /MM. Do not even try to use /MM or /AM stations as confirmation of a particular country, CQ/WAZ zone, IOTA etc. /MM and /AM are totally useless, there are very few special awards where they count.

Yes!

OK - now i'm understand.
Sometimes heard stations from occasional prefix /mm, and now i know this QSOs are useless to DXCC for example ...
Thank you for clarification.
