Hi again,
I am opening a new topic for this issue as i don't think it has to do with the crash before. I tried to set up TRX Control in CQRLOG for my Yaesu FT-847, but all i get in the console is:
Unknown rig num: 101
trx:FALSE
Now it does not seem to matter which number i enter, i always get this error message.
Hi,
it looks like hamlib is not complete. Please check if hamlib is installed properly. It looks like you have hamlib installed but not libraries for rigs.

I was able to solve the issue of "Unknown rig num" by uninstalling "libhamlib2", so that cqrlog will be forced to use the 32bit libraries which i installed with "getlibs". Now, when i start cqrlog, the "CAT" symbol on my Transceiver is ON, but cqrlog freezes. Any way to get a backtrace or anything else that could help you to find the reason?
edit: I could get rid of the freeze by editing the speed setting in [TRX] section!
My understanding is that the current version of hamlib is broken. There should be a newer version out soon. I am not sure if they are waiting for the latest hamlib (very soon) or he is doing some R&D...
There seems to be a lot of this going on. Get the new version of CQR Log, Navigator gets drivers for Linux and Windows will not be a part of my normal operating!!

Hi Will,
hamlib is not broken. We rewrote entire trx control and used rigctld daemon from hamlib. It should works much better.
