Good morning everyone.
This is Jim W1JT. I have a subscription to QRZ.com. When I setup my CQRLOG software I went
to Preferences and put my QRZ User Name and Password in under Callbook Support.
Now, when I highlight a call that comes in from the Cluster or when I manually input a call into "New QSO" CQRLOG
tells me the person's name down in the right hand corner where is says "Callbook (qrz.com):"
and in the top right under "DXCC info" is says USA-and then the state. For example if I type in W1JT under Call then it populates my Name as James then in the bottom right of the window is says my call and my full name and in the top right under DXCC info: it says USA - CT,MA,ME,NH,RI,VT. In other words Region 1 call area.
What I would like to know is, is there a way for my address to come up. When I work a station I'd like his street address and state to come up.
When I look at the New QSO window there is a field for QTH that is blank and there is a field for GRID that is blank.
I would think that the information for those fields would come from QRZ.com. Is that correct? If so, I would appreciate it if someone would tell me what I need to do to make that happen.
Thanks!
Jim W1JT
Well, problem solved....sort of. That is to say that I now can absolutely see name and address perfectly with every contact I put in. The problem was with QRZ.com ....once I used HamQTH instead of QRZ.com everything worked perfect.
