Flathub install of WSJT-X and FLDIGI - remote setup in CQRLog

Hello,
I recently installed KDE Neon and CQRLog. I also installed FLDIGI and WSJT-x via Discover. It installed the FlatHub version of both programs. I am trying to setup the remote for both programs but cannot seem to find what directory to point to for cqrlog to start these programs? any help would be great.

Thanks

HI!
Normal installation puts wsjtx and fldigi to /usr/bin, if self compiled with defaults they go to /usr/local/bin.
But when they are installed from some kind of "standalone packet" they can be anywhere.

Have you tried to open command console and give command:
whereis fldigi

and

whereis wsjtx

?
If they do not give any result you have to dig out how flatpack packed application starts, or otherwise just leave the path at preferences empty and start them manually from startup menu when accessing cqrlog remote modes.

Hi, maintainer of these

Hi, maintainer of these Flatpaks here. :-) I just randomly found this old thread.

Flatpak applications are intended to be run with the "flatpak run appname" command (or "/usr/bin/flatpak run appname" if a full binary path is required). So, for example for WSJT-X, this will be "flatpak run edu.princeton.physics.WSJTX". The reason for this is because Flatpak applications run in an isolated (sandboxed) environment (using Linux namespaces isolation/seccomp filtering etc.).
