The database counts the DXCCs I've done and the ones that have been validated, but I haven't found a way to list only the ones that haven't been validated. Also, would it be possible for unvalidated DXCCs to be somehow indicated in the cluster listing or band map? Now I can only see unworked dxcc.

DXCC unconfirmed but worked alert
If you look QSO list/DXCC status there are L, E, and X marks.
Is'nt that X mark that you have worked, but it is not validated?
You can do also Qso list/FIlter/SQL console:
SELECT qsodate,time_on,callsign,band,adif FROM cqrlog_main where qsl_r="" and lotw_qslr="" and eqsl_qsl_rcvd="" GROUP BY(adif)
You will see one unconfirmed qso per dxcc. leaving "GROUP BY(adif)" away you see all unconfirmed qsos.
The "adif" is the number of dxcc.
You can do join to cqrlog_common.dxcc_ref table to find names for corresponding adif numbers.
Cluster already has some colors. Adding more of them could cause more hassle. Perhaps.

yes but I use more colors on FT8 software and no hassle... see screenshot
