I am running version 2.6.0_(125) 2024-03-14. When using the contest window and tabbing between fields the software is activating voice memories in my rig. When I save the contact the program briefly activates rig to TX mode for a fraction of a second.

You have not checked S&P checkbox and now running "run mode". It has automated memory sending that works best with CW mode.
If you do not want his you should enable "Search & pounce mode" by checking "s&p" checkbox

Thanks I did figure this out. One issue was that I did not initially know what the S&P check box was for. The issue was when I put the mouse over the check box the pop up hints box flashed up but them immediately disappeared before I could read the tip. Not sure if that is a bug. You might want to check that. Or maybe it is only an issue with my RPI 4.

With my RPi4 (32bit OS) hint text stays visible as long as mouse does not move. Could it be that your mouse was moving, or if wireless, the connection has QSB. One step ("pixel") move closes the hint window.
