Only Care About UDP Upload

On my old (seemingly dying) machine, Xubuntu 22, I have Cqrlog Ver:2.6.0_(119)_QT5 Date:2023-10-03

I do not remember if I got an executable, or got source and compiled. Too long ago.

But what it allows me to do is UDP uploads to Station Master
(see https://stationmasterpro.com/post/320/Connect-CQRLOG-Directly-To-Station...).

Well... I've just spent the better part of two days getting a new(er) Mac Mini reconfabulated to Xubuntu 24 to replace my ailing, ancient unit. I'd forgotten that I'd done something special way back when. Imagine my chagrin to find that there hasn't been another release in all that time.

I've just today read some of the drama around recent betas that behave in somewhat alpha ways. I could search the old machine to see if I can figure out whether I have whatever I had downloaded many months ago, but given the change of the OS from 22 to 24, I'm not entirely certain that's wise.

Can anyone advise on two things?

1. What beta version is most solid and has the ability to send new logged info via UDP, and
2. where I can find it?

Many thanks, & 73,

Only Care About UDP Upload

Hi!

1.)
There is a Cqrlog variant named CqrlogAlpha available from my GitHub.

There are ready compiled versions for x32 and x64 systems using GTK2 widgets.
x64 systems have also alternative versions with QT5 and QT6 widgets.
RaspberryPI4 x64 version is also available.

Ready compiled versions, Alpha(134), are stable ones despite the naming.

There is also source available, at the moment Alpha(135), and it is more like "alpha" or "beta" until it is released as compiled version.

All versions have UDP online log support what you are missing.

2.)
Ready compiled with install script (install over existing official version): https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing/compiled
