Installed via ppa / command line.
UB i386, 12.4.2 all updates etc etc.
Full Error: Unable to open file "/home/ki7mt/.config/cqrlog/ctyfiles/Country.tab"
It gives me two options, cancel to quit, or OK to continue, but rick data corruption. Cancel works, OK does not, it also closes the applicaiton.
I saw another post about Master RTTY file, same type of problem as that one.

Yes this is a new Ubuntu install 12.04.2 on 16-APR-13.
As for using Gdeb, I've never used any of the ubuntu GUI installers, pretry much all commandline apt-get or dpkg for installation and removal or compile by hand. This install was a dpkg -i cqrlog_1.5.4-1_i386.deb

Uninstall what you have, back up log first, download from this site, go to repositories, install Gdeb installer, right click your dowload and open withGdeb installer, follow the promts. HTH, Tom

Im not much of a GUI fan, but I took your advise and installed Gdebi .. ended with the same results:
"Unable to open file "/home/ki7mt/.config/cqrlog/ctyfiles/Country.tab"
The path is present, but the file is actually missing:
