No Radio, Unable to manually enter the frequency

CQRLOG downloaded 9/25/2024 onto Ubunto 22.04, Mariadb installed Ok

I am using CQRLOG Free standing without a Radio and cannot manually enter the QSO frequency

Workflow: New QSO, Frequency, select a frequency from the pull down
the frequency flashes and returns to blank. The same when the frequency is typed in, the window blinks and changes to a blank.

Rig name is HAMLIB DUMMY NO VFO

(Radios to be added later)

Callsigns from WSJT-X automatically show in the CQRLog "Call" field

Linux Mint 22.
CQRLog: version alpha_(130)_Gtk2
WSJT-X: version 2.7.0-rc3

In previous versions (2.6.0_001) of CQRLog and WSJT-X, and while CQRLog was running in "Remote mode for wsjt CTRL+J" anytime new callsigns were decoded in WSJT-X running ft-8 mode, the "Call" field in CQRLog would remain empty, until I specifically double clicked on a callsign to work in WSJT-X. Then the "Call" field in CQRLog would populate and everything worked as expected.

Can't get voice keyer to work

Hi,

I have read https://www.cqrlog.com/node/3462 and it says:

Most common reasons that come in to my mind are that your script has no exec bit, but if you can run it from command line and it works, then next is your rig is not on phone mode.
Or at least Cqrlog does not know it.

Do you have right mode at NewQSO mode, and also TRXControl has red text in some of phone mode buttons?
Start Cqrlog from console:
cqrlog --debug=1
And you should find these lines when you press a F-key:

Saving my Layout

I have my setup with 2 monitors. I use the left for FLRig, WSJT-x with waterfall, and a terminal window if I need one. I use the right monitor for CQRLOG qso list and the New QSO window. The problem I have is when I start CQRLOG it defaults back to the QSO list on the left monitor and the New QSO window on the right monitor. Is there a way to save my layout so it starts the way it was when I last ran it, or the way I saved it?

SOLVED - HELP - Reinstalling cqrlog on Ubuntu 24.04

This week I upgraded my PC from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04 but cqrlog that was installed was no longer available. I tried to run it through the terminal but it was not recognized.
The cqrlog folder exists and I have a backup of my logs. When I tried to install through Synaptic, I suspended the installation because I was warned that the following packages would be removed:

CQRLOG AND TWO RADIOS

Hello to the whole group. I use cqrlog version 2.5.2 on an arch distro. I use two radios a FT3000DX and a FT991A. Used individually I have no problem, but when both are turned on the USB port references (/dev/ttyUSB*) are changed every time. I tried to assign names to the ports with udev rules but a radio the FT3000 works while if I switch to the 991A the PTT is activated immediately. I'm forced to use one radio at a time, if I turn one on I have to turn the other off. Does anyone have a tip for me on how to fix this problem.
