I have the latest version, 1.9.1-4. all is great, 100% so far, who ever did the interface for JT65/9 did a great job, works fantastic, maybe they can do the same for Fldigi, Thanks for the great software, really enjoying it. 73

Install problems

Ok after 2 days of trying to figure out how to install I give up. There are WAY too many variables for a newbie to Linux. I've managed to install Ubuntu onto my Chromebook and downloaded the CQRLOG files, but can't seem to get any farther than that. I got this Chromebook just to run CQRLOG. I'm not sure specifically what MySQL file to download etc. Anyone reading this who might be able to call me and walk me through it would be much appreciated.

Sending CQ

I would like to use the benefits of RBN, but I don't know how to get my rig to send CQ.
I have full rig control of my IC706MkIIG with CQRLOG.
I can go to Preferences>CW Interface and put HamLib in the Interface Type. (I think HamLib is installed in Ubuntu, but I am not sure).
I can then go to File>CW Messages where I see that F1 is set up to do a CQ.
When I press F1 the rig does not transmit and send CQ.
What am I missing here?

Can't Move data from Ubuntu to CentOS 7 cqrlog instance

I've decided to switch from Ubuntu to CentOS 7, and I successfully installed cqrlog v. 1.9.1 and all its dependencies on the CentOS system. I thought I could just copy the contents of ~/.config/cqrlog from the Ubuntu system to the CentOS system. However, when I do that, the CentOS cqrlog fails to start, complaining that it can't connect to the mysql db. If I launch cqrlog and let it create a fresh config, it works fine, and I can load QSOs, etc.

Deb backport for Debian Jessie?

As I'm running Debian Jessie, the version of CQRlog is getting a bit old (1.8.2) so I thought I'd try an update. Well, there is no newer version available via Jessie backports so I checked here and grabbed the 1.9.1 amd64 .deb. It required a MySQL development package to install (huh?) and once that was done my attempt to start the program resulted in pair of error boxes. The one was a complaint that the database could not connect to the server! I don't have a bloody MySQL server running and won't have one!
