CQR installation with DEBIAN

Hi there,

I've recently installed DEBIAN (WHEEZY 32 bits) and I wanted to install CQRLOG.
The package is listed in the DEBIAN packages under "Ham Radio", but I did not succeed.

I've added CQR repository with APT, but when I wish to install it, the necessary files are not found.
I've also tried to download the package locally and strart from there, but no success.

As I'm new with LINUX and DEBIAN (I've used UBUNTU in the past, but not very much) may be I ask a simple/silly question, but any help would be appreciated.

New LotW server

I happened to be browsing around the ARRL website and noticed they've put Logbook of the World on a new server with a new URL for access
http://www.arrl.org/logbook-of-the-world
the new LotW URL is https://lotw.arrl.org/lotwuser/default
Not sure how long ago this went intoeffect. the original p1k.arrl.org address appears to point to the same server since I haven't had too many issues with uploading my logs lately.

DXCluster selection slow to populate log entry

I have been using CQRLog for a couple of years now on Ubuntu, and love it.  However, I have an issue which has plagued me most of the time.  When selecting a callsign from the Cluster window, it takes 10 seconds or more to appear in the log and to change the rig frequency.

New QSO doesn't display last entries

I am new to CQRLOG... running ver. 1.7.3 on Ubuntu 12.04.  I have seen several screenshots (http://www.cqrlog.com/images/new_qso.png) which show a portion of the log file at the top of the New QSO screen...
I am unable to find out how to get my logbook to display most recent contacts here.  If I double click on a listing from DXCluster, the New QSO window briefly shows the log contents, but then blanks out as soon as the DXCluster info is pasted into the NEW QSO fields.  Very strange...

FT-897 don´t talk with my CQRLOG and Debian

Hi,
first of all I have to excuse - I´m totaly new in Linux-World and therefore I guess I mybe don´t get all the stuff I allready read in the forum regarding the connection between FT-897 and CQRLOG.
At the moment I start CQRLOG from the command line to see what is happend until startup. What I get is a "rig_open: error = IO error". I use a USB-SerialCAT interface which appears as "/dev/ttyUSB0" when I connect it to the PC. RIG IS 123... so what did I not see/configure correct?

Callbook Support

Hi there - my Query relates to the callbook lookup support for QRZ.COM and despite being an xml subscriber it does'nt appear to work after entering my call/pass'w in preferences.
When I use Fldigi lookups take about 2 seconds to populate the log fields so I know the system works !

Here am running Linux Mint "Petra" cinnamon with CQRLOG  v 1.73 - any ideas appreciated.

Thanks.

Online log upload. Problem when a QSO is rejected by ClubLog.

This is written On Status of log upload
ClubLog: Uploading Z6/LZ1BJ
ClubLog: Rejected: 'Z6/LZ1BJ' does not map by prefix or exception to any DXCC on the date in question. Skipping QSO.

This process remains in cqrlog with each update online QSO and prevents the subsequent addition of new QSO on clublog. How can I eliminate this action by cqrlog and allow the regular upload of new QSO?

eqsl user icon on new qso screen

GM. I recently added eqsl to my list of QSL options for stations I work. I indicated that I use eqsl on both HamQTH and QRZ.com. When I enter my call sign, KK4LSG, into the new qso screen as if I am working myself, I only see the icon indicating that I upload to LOTW. Could someone on the list point me to the location that CQRLOG searches to determine whether the LOTW or eqsl icon appears under the comment window. I would like to make sure both show up if someone works me.

Thanks for any insight.
