Lubuntu 14.04 & CQRLog 1.7.3.1

Yes, I know 14.04 is still in beta/unstable but I want to test it with CQRLog 1.7.3.1. CQRLog installed OK, no problem at all. Editing QSO is funny. I tried to edit RST report. Forexample 57 to 56 on SSB, CQRLog show 5566 for new RST.

TRX control doesn't work (Ubuntu 13:10 CQRLOG1.7.1 SB-2000 MK2 FT-897D )

Hello Peter,

I try to run my YAESU FT897D with a SB-2000 MK2 USB/serial interface. But the TRX control doesn't work.

At first I have had the IOerror. So I set the dialout (sudo usermod -G dialout dc5me).

Then nothing happend until I set in Preferences ->TRX control -> the "Run rig control when program starts".

After that my radio start transmitting immediately after startup CQRLOG (without stopping). I found a post that I have to disable DTR und RTS (=OFF). Is that correct?

TRX Control with Icom 7200 USB Port Issues

With the radio conneced to the computer via USB port and  port is identified as /dev/ttyUSB0 then TRX Control works properly.
If I turn the radio off and back on, the computer renames the port to /dev/ttyUSB1. When I change Preferences  Device  to /dev/ttyUSB1, TRX Control will not work??
TRX Control not work on USB1. It will only work on USB0.   I have to reboot the computer to make the port change back to USB0.
FLDiGi will connect with either USB0 OR USB1, but CQRLOG will not connect unless the port is USB0.  So it seems Hamlib is working okay.

Preferences

I'm using kubuntu 13.10 but the program does not retain the data entered in the preferences. Once you close the program and reopen, all data are erased. This happens both with the latest version (1.7) than with previous versions. What can I do? Do you have any suggestions?
