Hello,
This is something very difficult to test, and I have noticed it before but with the ARRL Sweepstakes on right now, it is very apparent.

Hello, CQRLog is the best logger for Linux and works fine ! Many thanks ! I have a little bug, the MODE column is missing in the main windows. This column is visible in QSO list.
I have tried to import my log of 16,000+ via adiff with no luck. I did an export with the same program of a smaller size and it worked as expected. Mint 18.2 CQRlog 2.1.0.

I am trying to use cqrlog version 2.1, binary downloaded from this, using ubuntu 14.
I have done a fresh install of mysql using MySQL APT Repository.
When I try to run cqrlog, I get the following error message:
Can not load MySQL library "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmysqlclient.so.18". Please check your installation.
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.
I get the following output with:
Hi
I just upgraded to f27 and now cqrlog won't start.
Attatched screendump and mysql.err.
The only difference i can spot is that libmysqlclient.so.18 don't exist in f27
Hope you can find a solution

I just installed a fresh mint 18.2 in an attempt to leave windows behind. I installed mysql and cqrlog from the ppa. I added myself to dialout and mysql, no matter what I try I get;
Trying to connect to database
TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.
when running with cqrlog --debug=1 > debug.log command line. I have looked but can't find a solution, any suggestions?

Just upgraded my test computer into F27.
Cqrlog does not start, because of missing libmysqlclient.so.16.
This new F-27 has libmysqlclient.so.18.
So, do not upgrade Fedora yet, if you don't want troubles :)
Hallo!
I've made a fresh install on the leatest version of Raspbian and when I load CQRLog and I try to create a new logbook I receive the error TMySQL56Connection: error executing query: table 'cqrlog_main' 'already exist' and if I try to open the log appears the error message: List index (0) out of bound. Any help to solve this problem is very appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

There appears to be a problem with importing 630M QSOs from LoTW. CQRlog is reporting that the QSOs are not found in the log. The BAND field in lotw_error.txt is blank:
QSO NOT FOUND in log
Call: XXXX
Band:
Mode: CW
QSO_date: 2017-10-29
Time_on: 052300
QSLR: Y
QSLRDate: 2017-10-31
however, the ADIF downloaded from the LoTW site does have the BAND field set for the same QSO.
Back a few months ago I was trying to install CQRLOG and WSJT-X on Linux mint. Then I got sick and had to have an operation and have been out of things for awhile. I am back at it again and have CQRLOG and WSJT-X 1.8.0 installed and working. Now to get the two working together. Can someone give me the setting fro each program to get them to talk to each other? Should I control the radio with CQRLOG or WSJT-X? Thanks for any help or advice.

A question from a Linux-Newbie. I tried installing CQRLog under freshly-installed Ubuntu 17.10 using Synaptic Package Manager and Petr's repository.
It installed 2.0.5 (not the more recent 2.1) and has trouble finding and starting up a SQL database connection.
Was it a mistake trying this under 17.10 or is there a way to get this to work? I could back down to 17.04 if I need to.

Have I missed something, or... Namely, if I open my log, take a filter, example
FT8, I get my all FT8 qsos listed. OK that.
But Is there another way to see dxcc statistics of these FT8 qsos, than export them to
separate adif, then open new log and import qsos there?
now, when I take filter of FT8 qsos, statistics shows still whole logs situation.
I have Slackware 14 running on a 64 bit PC. All nice and stable.
I downloaded cqrlog_2.1.0_amd64.tar.gz, put it in /root/Downloads and followed the instructions in:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-general-1/useful-thread-a...
I unpacked the file using: tar xvf cqrlog_2.1.0_amd64.tar.gz and it was unpacked into a folder of the same name. Seemed OK to me so far.
Hi,
i'm using CQRLOG Version 2.1.0 (125).
At the moment i am often qrv on short wave with FT8 and want to work VK and ZL.
So it would be nice, if you could enter VK,ZL in the Inputbox between Text and Alert in the wsjt-x cq-monitor, and it gives you an alert for *VK* and *ZL* Text.

I'm a bit confused as to which database I'm actually running.
mysql output -
tom@gqmvjh2 ~ $ mysql -u tom -p

New problem for me as of today. After importing an ADIF file as a second log and attempting to scroll down past the initial listing the application crashes with a small popup window showing only "cqrlog" and the close box in the upper right-hand corner. When I close the popup the application closes.
Here is the beginning of the debug level 1 output (some line breaks removed) -
tom@gqmvjh2 ~ $ cqrlog --debuglevel = 1

Uploading QSOs to eQSL.cc works fine, but downloading from them gets this:
Size: 2400
eQSL page was probably changed, cannot find the link to ADIF file
Server returned this:
I need someone to help me with what this error means & hopefully give me a clue as to what I can do about it.
Thanks,

I use a central database for CQRLOG which must be accessed over the Internet (it's hosted on a VPS, which also runs cqrweblog). I use several different computers for logging at different locations. Some have very slow, high-latency Internet connections. This can cause trouble when launching the program.
CQRLog does a good job downloading the QTH information (address etc.) from HamQTH. This data is not retained in the database now but, could be retained. Nothing special needed. Just retain the data in the MariaDB database. The data can be accessed through the SQL console with a simple query and exported to a csv file. Then I would be able to print labels for my QSL cards from EXCEL or other program.
Thank you for considering my suggestion.

Hi,
I am currently using cqrlog 2.1.0 and wsjt-x 1.8.0-RC2 on a low power computer (raspberry pi 3). The combination in general works well but I have noticed that my CPU usage gets a bit high. I think it is due to the processing being done for the cqrlog wsjtx cq monitor window. Is there any way to run in wsjtx remote mode, to allow qso to be logged, but not have the monitor window running?
Thanks
Jonathan GI7KMC
Did an update to my ubuntu 17.04 64 bit and then tried to run CQRLOG. Got a message to save mysql.err and now I don't know what to do. I get the login window but the logs are missing and cancel is the only option. The mysql.err file is attached below:
