Hi,
I just got my hand on an old and big log that I had to import for a friend and the adif export of that had to be imported to clublog again.
We got the following feedback (beside lots of old and wrongly detected dxccs from old dxpeditions that I will have to ask the friend for before I bother you with that...) from the clublog robot such as:
Callsign: S59/OK1CZ Date: 2004-10-...
Your log claims CZECH REPUBLIC. Overriding your choice and using SLOVENIA.
Any clues for me as to why my Install fail on Ubuntu 17.04?? - Partial log:
I'm using cqrlog for a few years now, currently Ver 2.0.5 (001) on Linux Mint 17.3. Recently I noticed something disturbing: the number of DXCC countries and DXCC CFM went down... additionally, the DXCC statistic says 138 DXCC confirmed by LotW, but lotw.arrl.org says I have 140 confirmed DXCC. Obviously, something is wrong. To find out, I dumped the complete database (cqrlog001 and cqrlog_common), got my logs from lotw and examined the data.
I found these entries with the first try:
At a loss - have installed cqrlog per Petr's instructions which specify that all dependencies are satisfied. Running Ubuntu MATE 16.04.2 on Apple MacBook with duo intel, 2 GB RAM.
What is lacking? What else must one do to get operational?
Many thanks in advance.

Here are the last lines in the MYSQL error file :
in version cqrlog_2.0.5-1_amd64.deb at ubuntu 17.04 the mysql version is deprecated and gives out the error about expecting mysql 5.6 not 5.7 but for ubuntu 17.* and i guess 16* mysql 5.6 is already depricated and no longer possible to install correctly becouse of deprecated dependency's for mysql 5.6.
so mysql 5.6 is deprecated and updated to mysql 5.7 i guess CQRLOG needs to update to mysql 5.7 still to work now and in the near future.

Hi, I have problem when go from 20 meters to 40 meters or viceversa.
If the radio is working in USB all changes are in this mode, or if is working LSB... the same above 10Mhz.
change to CW, AM, FM or RTTY works well.
When i push SSB button in TRX control the radio show the correct mode, but no when i go to any frequency from Dxcluster or Band map.

Hello,
First, thanks for making and supporting CQRLOG. It is amazing software.
I am experiencing an issue with importing QSL data directly from LOTW via CQRLOG:
QSL > LoTW > Import > Download and process data from LoTW website
Then I click the button labeled: Download data from ARRL Website
Can you add Exactly/include option to QSLvia.
We use in poland local bureau's they have marked as OT and number.
When i want to filter all QSL from one bureau i can'r do that in simple way.
Seems, that cqrlog uses default browser FIREFOX. Where I can change it to
something else, like OPERA.
Firefox is so much slower than Opera...
Had not used CQRLOG in a while and found that I was getting an error when I tried. Part of the error was “Can not get MySQL client library version version!”
My distribution is Debian “Testing” which is currently Stretch / Debian 9.
The Solution it seemed was as follows:
Found this https://www.cqrlog.com/node/1744 which said to install apt install libmysqlclient20 , but no installation candidate on my current situation.
Hi,
thanks for this great software and all you effort.
is there any way to set the time format to support seconds? By import and export ADIF files i usually generating some dupes by differences in time.
Thanks and best regards
Olli
I have installed 2.0.5(35) on my Odroid C2 using mariadb. It launches the logbook but every thing I type is echoing (e.g., double entry "ab" -->> "aabb") This happens on the main page as well as setup screens. Any help appreciated.

I am attempting to install CQRLOG on a PC running Ubuntu MATE 16.04. It all goes well till the final step, where it says that a media change is required. Specific text is as follows:
"Need to get 0 B/32.6 MB of archives.
After this operation, 203 MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n] Y
Media change: please insert the disc labeled
'Ubuntu-MATE 16.04.2 LTS _Xenial Xerus_ - Release i386 (20170215)'
in the drive '/cdrom/' and press [Enter]"
immediately after this morning's Kubuntu 16.04 update, the Web portion of DXCluster stopped working. Here is what was updated:
Commit Log for Mon May 8 11:38:47 2017
Hi Peter,
Is it possible to make the QTH-Profile more like multi-profile?
As my wife is ON3MS and I'm ON5HB, but I need to close the log all the time, instead of change the profile between the 2 calls into 1 log.
Is it possible to make it multi-ham in 1 log? I mean make the QTH-profile a quick Profile switcher regardless of QTH or Call.
Thanks.
I am running CRQLOG 2.0.5 on Ubuntu 16.04. Everything is working fine.
But sometimes CQRLOG does not calculate distance/bearing. The fields are empty. I have not found a "pattern" yet but it's for certain stations and maybe for very long distance. Just noticed it for V73NS. Is this a known issue?

Please, never consider make this awesome log program HDRlog like.
Just, No more unnecessary functions...
A dual clock, as part of CQRlog.
In separate window displaying UTC and local time.
That would be nice :)
Dear friends! I'm in the CQRLOG configuration stage. I have a problem with cqrlog Support wsjtx. Both versions of the latest software. Problem with CAT cable. For Ubuntu 16.04. I GIVEN SET OF SCREEN brochure for both programs. Cqrlog works well with the latest Fldigi. Please help. Paul SP5SMYY

Hi Petr,
it would be great, if you could add two more feature for the statistic window. Maybe this could be useful not only for DXCC ...
I like the DXCC statistic view, but it would be more helpful, if one could also filter to "not worked yet" and "all" (=worked, confirmed, not worked yet).
Another good thing would be, if the callsign could be optionally shown on the specific band/country/mode instead of "Q,L,X" maybe in different color or bold, italic, normal for the three states of QSL ...
I installed CQRLOG from the library available in the Synaptic package manager that comes with Ubuntu MATE. It installed OK, but when I attempt to run it, I get an error message saying "Error during connection to database: Server Connect failed", then a second dialogue box that says:
"* Database Problem
MySQL could not be started. Please check to see if the MySQL server is installed properly"
Hi everybody,
I realized, that for some reason an .ADIF contest log file had the wrong qso dates and I need to change it.
With the powerful filter function of cqrlog, I could easily identify relevant entries.
But is there also a way to do a block change of the date field for all filtered entries at once ? It's just a decrement by one day (26th to 25th).
Any ideas are welcome - thank you !

Rolf
Hi Petr,
some minor problem: in xplanet view, I recognized some callsign is shown up to three times. I looked up marker file a few times:
Hi
Just made first release (and pull request) of alternative remote fldigi.
It uses XmlRpc with communication between fldigi and cqrlog.
Biggest differences are:
1) you can see worked_before/DXCC status and QRZ/HamQth data like in normal cqrlogging
2) you can run fldigi on different computer than cqrlog (both must be networked)
If you are curious to see more read: http://www.saunalahti.fi/sakny/bin/cqrlog2/CqrlogAdditions2.pdf
