is there a way to change the font colors in the Wsjt-x CQ-monitor Window or are they hard coded? I want to change them to the same colors (nearly) as i use in WSJT-X.

Hi,
since the transmission power in the 60m and 6m band is usually lower than the normal transmission power, it might be an idea to insert an additional column after the column "Band" in the "TRX control", "Cange default frequencies" settings, in which you can enter the respective standard transmission power for each Band.

I have setup the software to automatically upload my contacts to HRDLog.net as well as Clublog. In the status window I notice a message such as:
HRDLog: Deleting original K6SRZ
HRDLog: Could not delete original QSO data!
ClubLog: Deleting original WN6K
ClubLog: Could not delete original QSO data!
HRDLog: Deleting original K6SRZ
HRDLog: Could not delete original QSO data!
Then the software appears to stall and not do anything. Any idea what the problem is and how to correct it?

When I open qsolist with CTRL-o or Window -- qsolist, with scroll bar drag down
list and pres page down, cqrlog crashes.
When I open File --- Show Qsolist all goes ok... Bug or?
Hi, does anybody else have a problem with CQRLOG? it refused to start, I tried all in my knowledge, purged cqrlog out of my ubuntu 1604LTS and reinstalled, but no luck.
I also tried to install this on a completely fresh 1704 with no luck, attached a screenshot, please help!
I recently bought a new laptop for ham operations. I loaded Ubuntu and carlog. I saw a pervious post about getting qsos to a new computer. I tried copying the .config/cqrlog directory and put it on the new computer, but it crashed the database. Would not start. I removed the cqrlog directory and it thought it was a new install and built a new db and works fine. Is this the best way or is there a better way. I do have the old computer that I can access.

First of all thanks to all involved for included this very useful feature. I've been playing with it to see how it works. For me it's common in some the VHF contests I participate in to have to enter the 6 digit locator and another piece of information as part of the contest exchange e.g. a membership number e.g "IO91wt 9999". It would be nice for CQRLog to be able to allow additional digits to be stored as a QSO message when the Message is a locator checkbox is set so that the stations QRA locator is stored in the correct field when a QSO is logged.
I'm trying to create a new log but having difficulty. If i select "create or open a log" menu option, I get taken to the MySql connect dialogue box where the only options available to me is to open my existing log. I could go in the back end i suppose and create my new log using MySql, but shouldn't i be able to do that via CQRLog? This issue is not related to the current new version of CQRLog I noticed it with the previous version also.
Can anyone tell me how I activate the new "simple contest window" feature?
Well Both Mysql and Postgresql are great databases for the use of local and remote servers thats no problem at all.
if your hosting a webpage to the outside world i always recomended both of them on a local server and local port to shut down the outside world port connecting to it.
But theres also SQLITE database also great for local fullly grown database stored in one file,
thats why i request sqlite to the wishlist of cqrlog.

I have version 2.0.5 (Linux) and I'm not able to import any FT8 contacts. Is it just me?
I went to File -> Preferences ->New QSO -> Mode and added it in. No luck.

Hi Petr,
i have the impression that no dx-cluster spots from the 60m band appear in the band map.
Is my impression correct, or am I doing something wrong?
For the DX cluster settings, 5MHz is selected.

I have installed version 2.0.5 through the PPA.. on Linux Mint 18.1 (Serena).
Apparently everything works fine but the QSO list in the main window keeps being empty after entering QSOs logs ( I can only see four empty rectangular fields of the table, in the top left corner).
The logs are in the database though, in fact if I go to:
Window --> QSO List
they are there and correctly shown; they just do not appear on the main window.
Am I doing something wrong?

New to Linux, new to CQRLOG. I backed up my log in adif (adI) format and can only get about 200 QSO's imported. I have over 8900 Q's in the log. I can provide my log if you like.

Hi all,
I am new to both Linux and CQRlog and am using Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon 64-bit.
I tried to install CQRlog from the Archive Manager butr when starting it I got two messages.
“Information… It looks like apparmor is running in yout system. CQRlog needs to add this: ...”
“Error during connection to database. Can not load default MySQL library ...”
I was advised to remove apparmor and did so by
#sudo apt-get remove apparmor

i would like to use another program with CAT in addition to CQRLOG.
With "socat" I had so far no success. Access to "/dev/pts/x" is obviously not possible. Do you know another solution.

having trouble starting CQRLOG on a fresh install of debian 9 64 bit.
First I had to install libmariadb-dev-compat package but after that I now get:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.6), got (5.5.1).
Any ideas?

I notice on some contacts the ITU zone / CQ zone are already filled in correctly (from the country file in either cqrlog itself or in fldigi) but when I try to update the rest of the information from qrz.com those fields sometimes get blanked (I guess those weren't filled in at qrz). Updating the record after downloading from qrz will reset ITU zone / CQ zone to 0, later showing up as blank.
Would be nice if the zone information was kept as is when there is no valid information from qrz. Sample callsign which shows this is MI6JVC (no offense to said amateur).
If you want to be alert when a desired callsign appears in cluster, add this command (Linux) in Preferences -> DXCluster.
You should install zenity first.
zenity --info --text='Callsign $CALLSIGN detected at $FREQ $MODE' --title=Info
Also you may set display duration in 5 seconds (Thanks DL2KI). After the window closes automatically.

I've created both 32bit and 64bit versions.
Right after starting to accept FT8 eQSL decided to upgrade their mode definitions to those of ADIF 3.0.4, so the mode is now "PSK (PSK31)" and not PSK31.
eQSL offers the option to upgrade your outbox, but it seems cqrlog currently is not ready for this change as it does not recognize new PSK (PSK31) contacts at the moment. I saw no announcements from eQSL so I guess they surprised all software developers.
