ALT-512 transceiver and CQRLog

I purchased a new Transceiver ALT-512 (https://www.aerial-51.com/alt-512/), The ALT-512 transceiver has a claimed compatibility only with Windows :-( with claimed TS-2000 compatibility,

My computer is a Mintbox, using Linux Mint 19, so I had to battle a bit, to succesfully read the frequency of this transceiver, directly in CQRLOG,

The purpose of this note is to share my experience, in case it help others,
Please note that I am not using digi modes, so I cannot say if the ALT-512 is woking with linux programs,

Hangs when connecting to database

CQRLOG will not load. Hangs when connecting to database on local server. Can connect to server normally via commandline or mysql utility, but it seems to fail from cqrlog. Shows database connection window only.

--debug=1 shows following;

eQSL Upload

Please excuse my bad english.

How can I upload only selected records or records from only one QTH-profile to eQSL?

In the dialogbox I only can select between "Export all QSOs" and "Export only QSO's which have never been uploaded". Which QSO's will CQRLOG exporting, if I use a Filter? Only the filtered QSO's or all QSOs?

Maybe you should save the different eQSL-Nicknames with the different QTH-profiles.

USB Issues

I have been using my Elecraft K3 with CQRLOG and Linux Mint with no problem for several years. I use an RS232 cable from the K3 to an RS232 port on the desktop Dell Optiplex380 and have never had a problem with rig control. I acquired a new Icom IC-7300 last week which uses a USB cable for rig control. I had no problems getting it connected as I have used USB adapters and cables with Linux in the past. At first i had an issue with RF taking out the USB connection and changing the USB port.

Can't import correctly from LOTW [SOLVED]

<p>I've been trying to import QSOs from LOTW. I have about 150 that refuse to import, and I have no idea why. It says SSB is the "Wrong QSO mode." How can that be????</p>

[Solved] starting from 2 month, I can't download from eqsl.cc

Hi to all, and thanks in advance for any advice.

With no mods in configuration, starting from some time, I can't download any information from eqsl.cc to my CQRLog.

I can, with no problem to upload, but in case of downloading I get: "Error: No such Username/Password found"; if I try to connect to the site with the same user and password I login with no problem.
