Rig Control

I have a Kenwood TS-50 that I have recently configured rig control to work with CQRLog (as Radio Two) by slowing down its rate of asking for information from the radio using a poll rate of 2500 and using

--set-conf=poll_interval=1000

in the Extra Command Lines Arguments and it works fine, but sometimes the TRX Control window will lose the frequency that the radio is at and show a frequency of 0.00000 even though (running CQRLog from command line) the Terminal shows that rigctl is receiving the frequency from the radio:

Sending: fmv

Rig control through a freq paste

Hello,

I apologize for the stupid question but I still want to ask it: Is there a way to control my rig by pasting a frequency into a field somewhere? I like to use a cluster that is only available on the web and I would like to copy a frequency from it and paste it into the TRX control window or into a new QSO form to force my rig to change frequency.

Can that be done? Can CQRLOG do it?

CQRLOG starts updating ALL my entries in HRDLog

Can someone explain:
I installed CQRLog 2.3.0 (002) on another laptop. Had my log imported, setup the connection with HRDLog. All fine. New entries were automatically added to HRDLog etc.

Then I decided to setup eQSL connection. I chose 'upload contacts that never were uploaded', and then it uploaded ALL my contacts to eQSL.cc. Of course, most of these were rejected as dupes. The new ones were correctly uploaded.
So far, nothing out of the ordinary

How to include "country" in adif exports

Hello,

I setup a new install of CQRLog 2.3. I want to export the country name in the adif file. It used to be listed on the "Fields to export" section of the export routine. I do not see it there. Is it called something else? I see county not country. What have I missed?

Thanks,
Marty, N3MOW

Fixed: ubuntu database startup issues

For those having trouble with mysql starting the cqrlog databases on Ubuntu:

The issue is the apparmor profile that ships with recent versions of Ubuntu is particularly restrictive. Check /var/log/syslog for the following:
