Log import failure(s)

My .adi file import does not seem to work.
1. I exported nearly 27k qso's from DXLab and put on USB drive. (Cruzer blade 32GB)
2. Imported into CQRLog and ticked "more than 10k qso's"
3. Import says 22439 done (but more than 4k qso's missing).
4. No log update to cqrlog i.e. no qso's showing in log and no errors reported.

LInux question for mysql installation

I just installed cqrlog and am trying to install from terminal sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev. This has been mentioned before in the forum as being necessary to get cqrlog to run.
When I enter the command, terminal then asks for my password but it will not allow me to type it in.
Am using a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04. Any ideas why I cannot type my password?

Ubuntu 17.10 error - TMySQL56Connection

Greetings,

I just recently installed cqrlog from the ppa on an Ubuntu 17.10 machine.

I get the following error when I try to launch:

Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.6), got (5.7.21).

This is a correct statement, as my machine does have mysql 5.7.x packages installed. What's the easiest way to proceed?

Marking QSO's as uploaded to all logs

Previously, I was working with two logs and in process of keeping CQRLOG as my primary logger.

Working with the two logging programs, I learned the hard way that if QSO's aren't exactly the same, you will end up with duplicates, which I have.

In trying to update my log upload in CQRLOG, I wanted to only update the newest QSO's I had. I highlighted the ones that were already uploaded so I wouldn't create even more duplicates in LOTW, and marked them as uploaded to all logs. In doing so, I believe it marked ALL of my QSO's as being uploaded.

Error during connection to database

Hi,

for some reason I pressed the wrong button in the logbook selection window during startup.
Now every time I tried to start a "Database connection" window appeared.
It asked for Server name (127.0.0.1), Port (64000), User name (cqrlog), password (blank)

Further down there are no more of my logs appearing.

If I press connect, an error window appears:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.

CQ-monitor alert sounds

Hi,
Being a relative newcomer to Linux (I am using Mint 18.2 Cinnamon) i have successfully installed CQRLOG and JTDX. They work fine together, but now I would like to use CQ-monitor to provide audible alerts. I have studied the document CqrlogAdditions2, but I need something more explicit (for a newbie) about how to install the sounds. What exactly is "my" script and how/where do I install it?
Thanks for any help in guiding me.
