CQRLOG - open discusion

Problem by install CQRLOG under Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hello
After crash my HD I must install all software on my pc.
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04.LTS. Have set a PPA for cqrlog and update.
then run apt-get install cqrlog.
after this i see in the terminal as follows

/var/cache/apt/archives/mysql-server-5.7_5.7.20-0ubuntu0.16.04.1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

when i start cqrlog the screen display : Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.

Can help anybody??

No Connection With TS-590s

I've searched through similar issues folk have had with their rigs not connecting but although I can query the rig's freq via the terminal CQRLog does not connect. I have flrig and xlog connecting okay using 231 Kenwood TS-590S, /dev/ttyUSB3, 115200, RTS/CTS and I have updated hamlib. The path to the binary is /usr/bin/rigctld Hopefully there's something in this debug readout that spotlights the fix.

No mysql No cqrlog.err

I recently reloaded my PC (slack 14.1 and cqrlog 1.9.0) and now CQRLOG won't run

When it starts cqrlog gives the following error:
MySQL could not be started, please check if the MySQL server is installed properly
MySQL is running OK.

I ran cqrlog debug and got the following. I noticed cqrlog also couldn't find mysql.err so I created it but the result from the debug remained the same and mysql.err is empty

CqRlog et Linux Mint 18-3

Hello,
I am under Linux Mint 18-3, the CqRlog software settles down but I have no access to put the information of my station.
This is what he displays:

Error during connection to database :
can not load defaut MySql library C «  libmysqlclient.so.16 «  or « libmysqlclient.so »
check your installation.

CW type sending each character twice

Hello,

I have ver 2.2.0 (001), running on Ubuntu 16, with a Winkeyer. Since the upgrade to the latest version, in CW Type, letter mode it sends each character twice, as in: CCQQ CCQQ. The "word mode, first word in letter mode" does not do this. I have used it for a long time (thank you!) and it did not do this until just now.

I tried powering the keyer off and on again, and getting out of CQRLOG and back in again but no change. Any suggestions appreciated.

color and other changes

Hi,

in the source code I made two color changes for my own use.

I changed the color for already logged QSO's in the "New QSO" window from red to blue, because it looks a bit more discreet.
"dbgrdQSOBefore. Canvas. Font. Color: = clBlue"

I also changed the color of the line that shows the duration of the QSO in the New QSO window to red to make the line more visible.
"lblQSOTakes. Font. Color: = clRed;"

Maybe just take a look.

MySQL could not be started

A while back I did a fresh Linux install on my computer and moved over my home directory. Ever since then I haven't been able to get into my log. If I run CQRLOG from a different username I can run CQRLOG with no problems.

Please help. Thanks!

I get the following error message:
