CQRLOG - open discusion

Anyone else losing Callbook Support?

I use HamQTH for callbook support and all of a sudden it is only working at times. Sometimes it does still work and populates the box and fields but most of the time it doesn't. I have tried disabling it and then re-enabling. It works a time or two then stops again. It has always worked very well for me until now.

Any ideas?

"unable to locate package"

Before I finally install CQRLog on my Raspberry Pi3 I'm trying to get all the packages installed. SQLServer, Hamlib,FLDigi seem to have installed OK. I tried to install "libssl-dev" with the sudo apt-get install with the "unable to find package" response.
I'm a LofTW user so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
The Pi3 was a Xmas present and I'm on a (very) steep learning curve with Linux after many years with Windows.

FT-991A connection

Hi All,

I have been running CQRLOG connected to a YAESU FT-450D without any troubles, I can control the radio from CQRLOG, open FLDIGI and WSJT.

I upgraded my station and now have a YAESU FT-991A. I want to connect to the radio using only the USB port. When I tried to connect, I do not see the radio on the TRX control RIG list.

Uploading to eQSL

I have LoTW uploading and downloading my contacts okay and eQSL uploaded and downloaded the first time and downloaded the second time too. But, when I try to upload to eQSL now I receive the error message "QTH field is empty". It appeared that I needed to create a QTH Profile so I did but that did not fix things. How do I create and use the QTH Nickname the field requires?

rigctld usage

Once you have cqrlog installed and running ok with rigctld started by cqrlog, or started manually before cqrlog (you can even start it at boot time from rc.local) you can use several programs accessing rig at same time.

You just have to use "-m 2" (rig model 2, NET rigctld) for all other programs. Then they can access your rig and run at same time.

Manual Log Entry

When I uploaded and then downloaded my log with LoTW and eQSL I had five QSOs reported as not found in log. All five were valid contacts and I want to add them to my log, but when I tried to add the first one I was not able to modify the default current date... and I assume the time, etc. I could not find this in the manual or forum but perhaps I did not have the right search phrase.
Any help?
