DX cluster stops same time every day

Hi!

I have observed that the DX-cluster (web-version) stops every day at the same time, 10.14z. It will not re-connect automatically or manually, it is stuck in "connecting". The only ways to get it working is to re-start the CQRLOG program or to press "connect" again after a longer time (works when I see that it has stopped hours ago).

A Modest Proposal

It's been 40 years since coding anything in Pascal. I was wondering if there are wrappers or bindings that enable calling C library functions from the Pascal that CQR is written in. I assume there are. I really like CQR and I'm considering creating a version of my own with the code refactored to use SQLite instead of MySQL.

SQLite eliminates dependence on unreliable external packages like MySQL. It's small, fast, and linked directly into the program. I switched to using it for all my database needs years ago.

I have several disks with CQRLog on different distro's but this new one is giving me issues.
On RHEL 8.3 I was able to install the MariaDB server and client but I can't get CQRLog to see it .
My entries as directed by the error box is this.

Don't Add if Dupe?

Here's the problem. The entries in my CQRlog have been edited to include details about the QSO, comments, and notes. A lot of effort is invested in this.

If I import an ADIF file from WSJTX or Fldigi, there will be dupes. Those imported dupes will be naked QSOs with just the basic info. If I use the Remove Dupes function, I need it to delete only the new naked QSO records. I don't want it to touch any existing QSO records that were already in the log. Does the Remove Dupes function already do this? Does it delete the newly imported QSO or the one that already existed in the log?

MySQL Error With Brand New Install

All,

Good evening. I just installed CQRLog and MySQL, on a freshly installed Ubuntu Mate 20.04.1 installation, from the repo. When I launch CQRLog, I get the following MySQL error:

"Error during connection to database: TMYSQL57Connection: Server connect failed."

Here is the relevant output from my error log:

Installation CQRLOG

Hello folks,
does anyone have experience with installing CQRLOG on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with already existing MySQL on a server in the network?
Configuration:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Latest version of MariaDB on NAS.

After installation, the error message comes up that the application is not responding with options wait or close immediately

Thanks
P.S.: Log4OM under wine works with the database.

WSJTX and Linux Mint 19.x

I upgraded my Linux Mint from version 18.x to 19.x a month or so ago and my WSJTX quit communicating with CQRLOG. Prior to the upgrade, the frequency displayed, mode displayed, etc. Now they don't communicate at all in remote mode. I am new to this forum so forgive me if someone has already solved. Looking for any help.

Thanks
