Ubuntu based package cqrlog2.4.0-3 ???

Hi !

I have seen this 2.4.0-3 package mentioned few times before. Would be interesting to know from what date of source is used for building it.
Problem is that version number does not grow during main versions. Perhaps it should be changed with every pull request, at least the build date.
At some point build date is set to show out at bottom of QSO list (left side with version number) but that does not help if it is not changed with every commit.

That is why package maintainers, if they create "meanwhile" packages, should use commit numbers in their naming.

Mint 20 Cinnamon and new cqrlog

Hi!

Yesterday evening I did install Mint 20 Cinnamon to virtual machine to test how cqrlog can be installed.

Downloaded .iso file and placed it to virtual cd player and started virtual machine. Once Mint 20 was started I selected a desktop icon for installing Mint 20 to HDD.
After install finished and reboot was done I opened command console and installed Mariadb and cqrlog with these 2 lines:

sudo apt install mariadb-common mariadb-server mariadb-client
sudo apt install cqrlog

LOTW signing adif file not working after upgrade to Kubuntu 20.04

I have searched this forum to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Last week I upgraded from Kubuntu 18.04 to Kubuntu 20.04. This was an UPGRADE, not a clean install. Now I cannot sign an adif file to upload to LOTW. When I attempt to do so, I get the following error message:

MySQL startup problem

Help please!
Just installed a new Mint 20 and then, with synaptic, installed the most recent CQRLOG 2.4.0-3.
On starting CQRLOG, I get the message:
MySQL could not be started.
The Database connection panel appears... I tried the button 'Connect'.... no change. I tried ticking 'Save log data to local machine', again no change.
The mysql.err shows the following:
