I´m trying to change mi O.S. from XP to Ubuntu.
The fact is that in Windows XP I use the RigExpert Plus USB interface (CAT-FSK-CW Keyer and soundcard).
Is there any one using it with CQRLOG and Ubuntu?

I see that it is possible to upload a QSO to EQSL
How is this possible when there is NO account setup with a password

Hello guys,
its me again with another wish ;-)
Is it possible to add the LOTW and eQSL support to the QSL-fields??
Perhaps you can make 2 fields for QSL_S and 2 fields for QSL_R ?
The first field could be used to define the paper QSL as it is already working in CQRLog.
The second field could be a used like:
-eQSL
-LOTW
-eQSL and LOTW
I would be glad to have these information to know, if I sent or received something in LOTW or eQSL.
Later on, perhaps the QSL_R fields for eQSL/LOTW could automatically be updated if the eQSL interface
is working.

Hi, I did a search but could not find the info on how to erase a log and start all over?
I imported my log a couple of months back and also did the same again (with more QSO in it) and my older ones got duplicated... so my log is a mess now. I can easily fix it with a fresh import but need to get rid of my old data. Can anyone help out?
Hope I was clear in my description.
Thanks

I have noted that CQRLOG do not show the Norwegian characters ÆØÅ correctly, instead characters are mark for copyright or no character at all.
This is also valid for qso fields like comments, name and qth. It would be nice to represent these characters correctly in the log.
For the sake of good order, I checked the fonts used in the logbook (font with slanted zero) and in software like openoffice the keyboard characters are represented correctly using the same font.
I assume this is a localization problem.
Correct representation of the umlaut characters would be nice.

Hello,
being QRV on 2m in contests from more than one QTH it would be nice to have the MY_LOC field in the gLabels export CSV file. Comment field could be left for serial No. or alike then and the QSL card has always the correct locator. Or is there any way to do that via the profiles?

I have noted that once data from QRZ.com has been loaded into cqrlog (lower left corner) as this option is turned on. When last qso where data was collected, the data is not cleared out and it has happened to me that the data from the previous qso has been entered into the next one. Seems to be typical when there is no data from qrz.com.
No big issue, just a small nuisance.

I have been playing around with cqrlog again and have it installed under ubuntu (Lucid) it all seems fine, but I was wondering is it possible to create ANOTHER log, perhaps with a different name to keep a record , ie:- of reception reports maybe downloaded from psk-reporter (These are adif files) I'm sure I read somewhere it is possible to store different logs ? I've looked but cant see how it's done - any clues ?

Hello Petr and Martin,
I'm afraid that the lotw1.txt file again did not install correctly with the new release.

It may be useful to save the install log somewhere, unless the installer already does this.
The close button on the install dialog is working now -- Thank you!!
Hi all:
I'm new to CQRLOG and am having a challenge. The start and end times for a new QSO keep advancing with the system clock. How do I get the start time to lock in at the start of the QSO so that the log will show the duration of the contact. Sorry if this is obvious but I can't seem to figure it out. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian (K7TKT)
Hello Petr and Mikael,
Here's an idea that you may like. In your "About" dialog, why not put a link to www.cqrlog.com? That way, the user can quickly come to this site from the "About" dialog.

Hello Gents!
I just downloaded and installed ver. 0.9.4 using cqrlog_install.sh. Everything seems to have installed just fine, as usual, but there was no response to clicking the close button on the install dialog. I seem to recall this as being a problem in other versions. It's a minor problem, as hitting the close button on the frame -- the "X" -- closes the window without a problem. I am using Fedora 12 with a PIII. Just wanted to let you know about it.

Hi there. Not sure if anyone is experiencing the same problem as me. After a while I am not able to type a callsign in the 'call' text box area in the New QSO window. At first I thought that CQRlog may have locked up but soon learnt that everything else still worked so must be something to do with the text box area only?
The only way I can get the call text box working again is to shutdown CQRlog and start it up again. Has anyone else experienced this yet? I am running Ubuntu 10.4 and latest version of CQRlog.

Again hello everybody!!
I'm not sure if this post is correct in this category.. But I give it a try ;-)
There's a discussion about sending QSL's from CQRLog automatically to eQsl and that
there is information about the architecture of eQsl missing.
So I wrote an eMail to the team of eQsl if they could cooperate with the developers
of CQRLog.
Today I got an answer......
I am forwarding your comments/concerns to The Boss. I have noticed that OK2CQR is presently a BRONZE member with eQSL.cc AG status.

Hi everybody,
as described in my last post, I use gLabels to print my QSL.Cards.
And there is a field named 'POWER' which I want to fill.
Is it possible to read the Power from the Tranceiver ??
In my actual configruation I have to enter the power manually.
The rigcontrol of CQRLog works fine and also the DX-Cluster, setting
frequency and mode automatically.
Best regards

First I want to thank you for the great Software!!
But now to my question:
Is it possible to export more data to the .CSV file?
I configured gLabels to print my own QSL-cards. But there
is a field named 'POWER' on my card.
It would be great if I could set a variable which fills my
QSL-Card with the used power.
Could you please publish which data the variables "{1} {2} etc." include?
Best regards and 73

Hello.
I'm an vhf/eme hamradio. I use cqrlog for a long Time now.
In eme this is usual to give only grid by 4 digits.
It would be good that beaming and others info like distances could be filled.
Thank you for this wonderful prog.

OK
So I know that you can't use a laptop with CQRLOG running in the car while driving.
But I wonder if there could be an option to have MOBILE in the grid locator field of the QTH profile instead of an actual locator? I'll explain.
I drive to and from work each day and quite often have several contacts during the afternoon commute, which generally takes an hour or so. I usually write basic contact information into a note pad when I stop at traffic lights or I pull over to quickly jot down the details of the person I am speaking to.
