I'm still a new user, but let me say first that the more I use CQRlog, the more I like it.
I have a question. I have several logs and one of them has a problem I want to fix. It's log number 005. A couple of weeks ago, I made a dumb mistake when importing contacts and the my_loc fields are wrong in all 550 rows. They all want to be changed to the same locator, EL96tr.
If you were faced with this problem, would you:
1) Use the SQL interface and code up the fix directly?
2) Export to ADIF and edit using and ADIF editor like ADIF Master, then re-import?
I recently started receiving an error when attempting a LoTW download. Error message received is below.
connected to LoTW server

Any suggestion where I can look for solution to problem?
Thanks,
Hi
I just installed CQRLog 2.3.0 on a fresh installed debian 10, but when I try to download from LoTW I get this error message
NOT logged
Error: -2
Error: SSL/TLS support is not compiled!
Error: ssl_none
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
If you could help me I would be very gratefull.
thanks

Hi to all,
Past week-end the frequencies had the great CQWW CW contest... I try to partecipate for the first time.
But, at one point, I would like to know the score... Fortunately, I was using the wonderfull CQRLog along with its SQLConsole!
So, I used this "little" SQL query to have the total... I copy it here the SQL command if someone had the same need:
Hi to all,
I'm trying to download QSL from eqsl.cc but this url:
https://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/DownloadInBox.cfm?UserName=ik7xja&Password=s...
is alwais replying that the password is incorrect or the user doesn't exist... Even if the user and password are surely correct (I could accesso to the site without problems with them...)
Someone is experiencing the same problem? I'm using CQRLog 2.4.0
I am using an FT-1000MP, and in the radio settings, so I take the FT-1000MP (not MARK V !, the 124 model), and I select 4800bps as well as two stop bits. Everything else is in "default".
When changing the frequency by selecting in "Band Map", it takes more than teen seconds before the frequency of the FT-1000 changes, and for now it does not change any more.
With my FT-920, no worries for years!
How to properly adjust the FT-1000MP?
Thanks. Geoffroy, ON6GMT.
Hi!
I order hosting in GoDaddy service for my CQRLOG mysql. After i tray make database, but get error that i cannot connect cqrlog_common database.. I start digging and looks like this service is dedicated, and someone use database called cqrlog_common :) So only way to fix this is put prefix before database... so question - there is possibility put prefix before databases?
Hello,
im new to CQRLOG and try to setup my rig. I have been connecting my KX3 via CAT to CQRLOG and and it looks like communication is established.
But as I try to key CW I recocniced some timing issues. CQRLOG leaves some "blanks" between single letters where no blanks should be.
As interface I used the CAT /usr/bin/rigctrld on port ttyUSB0 with the default values for speed, databits, stop bits, pariy and so on.
Could you give me a int how to solve the issue?

I'm trying to filter my QSOs, and statistics, by propagation type so I can see only my satellite QSOs but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. Can this be added in a future version, please?

Hi,
when is it supposed a new release of CQRLOG will be released and what changes and new features will it have?
Thanks.
Good morning.
Not sure what i am doing wrong here but after each QSO in FT8/WSJT-X, It uploads the QSO to Clublog and HamQTH but seems to be uploading every QSO in my log and deleting existing QSO already uploaded. Under the online log section i have checked the following, Enable upload to (HAMQTH) (Clublog) and Upload QSO data immediately after save. I also have checked at bottom, Ignore changes caused by LOTW/Eqsl.
What am i missing here?

Good morning everyone.
This is Jim W1JT. I have a subscription to QRZ.com. When I setup my CQRLOG software I went
to Preferences and put my QRZ User Name and Password in under Callbook Support.
While it is always possible to import JS8 adif files manually into CQRLOG, I am trying to do it directly as is done with WSJTX.
It looks as if it may be possible to use the N1MM remote logging interface for this, by setting the UDP local host and port in JS8.
While this picks up the call sign and the signal reports, it does not find the frequency and so refuses to complete the logging process automatically.
Is there a solution, or an alternative way to log JS8 automatically into CQRLOG ?

Hallo everybody!
I'd like to know if it's possible to add a sound alert to the callsign alert window of Dxcluster.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Hi,
If I choose in QSO LIST window ->QSL->LOTW->Mark all QSO as uploaded to LoTW its changing LOTW QS_S for current date even for qsos which are already marked as sent to LOTW. IMHO it is not correct to change already exist LOTW QS_S and should work only for qsos which are not marked yet.
Otherwise, it leads to a situation where the LOTW confirmation receive date is earlier than the sent date, which is impossible with LOTW.
Did not check how it works with eQSL.

Dear Saku,
Good practical windows with ergonomic organization example for a logbook is the first Logger 16bits version lgr807 by 9K2ZZ.
All you need in one screen...
https://www.logger32.net/files/lgr807.zip
You could find it and run it under wine as XP.
So could you test it and take many good ideas...
Then Logger32 becomes a gaz factory as many logbooks now...
Wintest by F6FVY & F5MZN is a good example of ergonomic logging also, specialized for contest...
I'm working on replacing my hamshack machine with one a bit more capable. I have CQRLog running on the old box, and am quite happy with it.
installed a fresh copy of Mint 20 on the new box. I've used the synaptic tool to remove MariaDB and install MySQL per some of the other entries that I've found on these forums.
Upon launching CQRLog, I get the splash screen, then:
Error during connection to database
TMySQL57Connection: Server connect failed.
Per the next dialog, I am posting the last several lines of my mysql.err file
Hello all! My first post on this forum.
I just started using CQRLog a couple days ago. I like what I see and I like very much that it is being actively maintained. That's very important and I will make a donation. I like that it supports more of the possible fields in the ADIF format than most logging programs.
It took me a few times to get used to the user interface. At one point I was sure I'd found a bug, but I had misunderstood the user interface. I'll have a suggestion about that in another post.
I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the open discussion list .... can CQRLOG be made to work with the ExpertSDR software TCI?
How else can CQRLOG be made to work with the expert software if not by TCI?

Hi,
Cqrlog has fldigi remote mode. But is any way to start fldigi from cqrlog in waterfall only mode (fldigi --wfall-only)?

Is it possible to have cqrlog go from Call field directly to RST rcvd ?
When no radio is connected one must tab 4 times to get to the rst field.
Being able to define the tab filed order would be nice, like from call to ITU when contesting etc.
also i would like the qso dato so show Day/Month/Year, it is year/month/day now.
Hi all,
I have difficulty to connect my IC7610, and eventually my Winkeyer to CQR.
I'm with Debian10.

Since I upgraded to Mint 20 Cinnamon and compiled the latest version of CQRLOG the way the windows act is different. The windows I use are New QSO, DX Cluster, RBN Monitor, TRX Control, and DK0WKY Propagation. In previous versions of Mint when I clicked on the CQRLOG icon in the task bar (when the program was running but minimized) all of the windows would come up. But now when I do that only the NEW QSO window comes up. If I hover over the icon in the task bar I see the other windows but i have to click them one at a time to get them all back full screen. It's a pain in the rear.
