Hi,
it is possible to bundle or summarize simultaneously spotted calls in the RBN monitor? This would improve the clarity considerably.

CQRLOG 2.3.0 (001) 2018-06-17

I am working on a Rpi4 for logging and digital for my truck. I have a very nice ft891 with builtin usb conection. But it is easier to test my setup on my bench in shack with my dx1200. I tested cat control with ft8 on ft891 and it worked great.
I brought the Pi back in house loaded cqrlog ( no issues at all loading). set radio on wsjt to none and ham lib dummy on cqrlog. All i really wanted to do is confirm logging of qso with ft8.
Hi
I just saw something on the log window for CQRLog in the strips below the logs where it says Distance Total Distance and Longest QSO.
I have no idea where it got that from or how I can look up that longest QSO. I'm assuming it was looking at long path? and how can I find that particular QSO in my log? FIlter doesn't seem to have an option for distance or else I missed it .
Thanks
Chris
I'm one of those people who logs all radio contacts, including those via a repeater. Thanks to the cool and upgraded features in cqrlog I can now set propagation type RPT (repeater) correctly on the Satellite tab for the contact.
But that will make the next upload to LoTW fail. tqsl will not accept the contact (which matches the LoTW rules: repeater contacts don't count). So tqsl ends with status code 9 "some QSOs suppressed" which means cqrlog will mark none of the contacts as uploaded and the problem continues.
Hello,
I am new to CQRLOG and I am looking for a download for a PC using an Intel core but I only see downloads for binaries to run on AMD64 cores.
Thanks for any information.

In CQRLog the handling of rigctld is nonsensical at best and problematic in some use cases.
There are two main issues.
1. rigctld is not auto launched when TRX control window is opened. This means that TRX control is non-functional.
2. rigctld is not auto closed when TRX control window is closed.
In the case that "Run rigctld when program starts" is enabled in settings, TRX Control is not closed (along with rigctld) when WSJT-X or FLDigi modes are enabled, causing a conflict between rigctld and WSJT-X or FLDigi.
Unless i have missed the setting is there a way of making CQRlog just accept LoTW & Card QSLs as valid contacts - ie for when the log shows if a QSL is needed or not or if its a new country - seems we have to include eQSL but so many dont accept it as a valid DXCC confirmation... plus if working for DXCC having just cards and LoTW would be a useful option...
may be tick boxes for each offering so depending on the method you use it can be bespoke?
Hi,
in the settings of the RBN monitor, under "Bands", "All", the 60m band is missing. I can't determine if the 60m band is processed in the software at the moment.
An "autoconnect" of the RBN monitor and an addition "Callsign alert" would also be good.
Because of the large empty space in the "New QSO" window, the arrangement of the windows is difficult when using the RBN monitor. Why a contest area in the "New-QSO" window, if there is already a separate window for this.
Hi,
after upgrading from Kubuntu 19.10 to 20.04 another problem occurs.
The DX-Cluster Window "Telnet" does not work or stops after a few lines. The telnet connection in the Linux console works fine.
After a restart of CQRLOG spots appear in the "telnet" window. After some time, however, the window freezes. After a restart the "telnet" window works again, but then freezes again after some time.
The DX-Cluster Window "Web" in CQRLOG works as well.

Hi,
after the update from Kubuntu 19.10 to 20.04 the clublog upload does not work again. It seems to be the same problem as here: https://www.cqrlog.com/node/2346
In CQRLOG 2.4.0 this message appears.
ClubLog: Upload failed! Check Internet connection
Internet connection is available and working. "mariadb" was and is installed.

A compilation of the current source code does not change the behaviour.
I am running Linux Mint 19.3 and the current version of libhamlib-utils 3.1.7build1 does not hold the radios that I wish to use so I installed version 3.3 from the Hamlib github. In order to do this I was required to uninstall CQRLOG when I uninstalled the old Hamlib.
The install of libhamlib-utils 3.3-10build1 went smoothly and all tested out OK so I went to install CQRLOG again and ran into the issue that it wants to install the old version of rigctld and does not seem to be aware of the new version. Does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed here.
I don't know why but CQRLOG has started displaying double key strokes. So whenever I type in any CQRLOG field things display twice. So if I type KD9JQR in the call field it displays KKDD99JJQQRR. This just started I have rebooted and made sure everything is up to date. CQRLOG is the only program that has a problem. I am running Mint 18.2 and CQRLOG 2.3.0(001) Any ideas?
Is possible have split logbook fo swl with option to add QSO wit 2 station?
I made new install to Ubuntu Mate 18.04 distro. 20.04 have printing problems. After installation I made all fixes as I fount here.
tpv@tpv-ThinkPad-T61p:~$ sudo apt install cqrlog libmariadb3 libmariadb-dev mariadb-common mariadb-server
tpv@tpv-ThinkPad-T61p:~$ dbus-launch --exit-with-session cqrlog
The most important was reboot laptop after install. Without reboot database not start, connection problem. Now normal start up. Thank you guys for sharing solutions. Helped me a lot, 73 Timo OH7JHA
I am encountering errors when attempting to import records from qrz.com:
while running >cqrlog debug=2 I get the following when trying to import two records:
select count(*) from (select distinct dxcc_id.dxcc_ref from dxcc_id left join cqrlog_main on dxcc_id.adif = cqrlog_main.adif WHERE cqrlog_main.adif<>0 and (dxcc_ref NOT LIKE '%*') AND ((qsl_r = 'Q') OR (lotw_qslr = 'L') OR (eqsl_qsl_rcvd='E'))) as foo

Hi all,
Just updated my laptop from Ubuntu 19.10 to 20.04.
Everything went quick, smooth and nice. Only problem with cqrlog was lacking libssl-devel after upgrade - easy to fix.
Apart of cqrlog VMBox - you know, n1mm :) - is gone after upgrade, but files are still on hdd so I hope to recover it.
Hope everyone is in good health,

Hi
I know this issue has been the subject of several inquires, but I have been unable to fix the issue on my system after applying the various fixes.
When starting CQRlog, I get the TMySQL57connection - Server connect fail.
I ran the program with --debug=1 option and found:
Could not open required defaults file /home/larrie/.config/crqlog/database/mysql.cnf
fatal error in defaults handling
CQRLOG's K3NG CW interface does not work unless I have opened Minicom or Arduino Serial Port Monitor first. Then it works just fine. In order to use the K3NG CW interface I have to leave Minicom running on the same port (in my case /dev/ttyUSB1) at the same time. If I close Minicom CQRLOG's K3NG CW interface stops responding. Is this a bug?

I using linux mint 19.3.
After installing (sudo apt-get install cqrlog) the failure displayed.
Now I have start cqrlog in debugmode "cqrlog --debug=1. I see that the folder /var/lib/mysql-files can't found it.
With MC (midnight-commander) look in /var/lib/ for the foulder /mysql-files .. can't found him .
It gives a foulder /mysql only.
Have this copied and as /mysql-files paste.
Now it's work :-)

There are a lot of things we like to do at the same time. Walk and chew gum, ignore your girlfriend while watching the game, the college girls that live down the street. And don't forget running CQRLog and your favorite SDR rig-control software at the same time. Some of these are harder to accomplish than others, while what's left remains within the realm of possibility. (If you know of a reliable method for the college girls, please post instructions!)
For now we're going to settle for running CQRLog in tandem with our SDR software that also controls our rig.
Configuration:
Ubuntu 20.04 fresh install as of two days ago.
MariaDB 10.3.22
Initially had some trouble with the install, but managed to install cqrlog via the downloadable package. The installation worked initially, and was even able to restore all logs.
Hi.
I have problem witch connect radio DX3000 to cqrlog. Cqrlog can't automatic start rigctld. Cqrlog don't send command to rigctld and i can't manually in terminal open connect when cqrlog is open. I can only on terminal open connect witch rigctld and after that open cqrlog - everything work ok.
i open cqrlog from terminal:
cqrlog

Hi,
It seems CQRLOG forces to choose unsafe passwords for eQSL. The password field in the settings only allows passwords with a lenght of 8 and only digits and numbers. The field seems to accept special characters like $%_&, but the password (e.g. like %24_dhj8) will not work. There be an error message, when you try to upload your log.
Hello CQRLOG,
I'am digging deeper into the setup of CQRLOG.
Today was time to setup two rigs with hamlib and working CW interface.
I was not aware of the fact, that only the first rig can use the CW interface!
Menu CW interface -> Interface type: HamLib -> see description there
For my understanding I can use TRX control to switch the rigs.
Only the activated rig (first or second) is the rig which can use the CW interface!
I would be great to have this fixed.
