I'm afraid that the A7 entity (Qatar) is not included in the database, so any A7 confirmed contact is not considered for the DXCC CFM calculation.
Am I right? Can it be fixed?

Hi there,
I have an issue here on my 24/7 shack machine with mariadb & CQRLOG 2.4.0 & Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
After some hours of no activity, when I click some action that triggers a db-request I get:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: MySQL server has gone away.
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Abort to kill the program.
If I abort and restart everything's fine. The dbserver does not need any action from my side.

Hey everybody,
since I am a pilot and working HF out the aircraft I have quickly changing locators. I would like to mention these locators in the logbook. Is there any way to add a field where I can enter the locator I was at at the time of the QSO? Or do I only have the comments field for this purpose?

Hello all,
Just installed Mint 20 from scratch on my station's computer.
Everything seems to be working fine, except LOTW uploads.
Here is what I get:
==================
Starting export to adif ...
Export to the adif file completed.
File:
/home/erik/.config/cqrlog/lotw/2020-08-01_07-57-30.adi
Signing adif file ...
TQSL Version 2.5.1 [unknown]

Apologies if there is something obvious I'm missing here but my google-fu is failing me.
I've rebuilt my linux box using Ubuntu 20.04. Before hand I backed up my `.config/cqrlog` directory. Now when reinstalling it and copying that directory into place it is unable to connect to MySQL. I've reinstalled a few different ways and at some point I found a recommendation to install mariadb 10.3 instead but that resulted in the same errors.
On the new installation the version of mysql is `mysql Ver 8.0.21-0ubuntu0.20.04.3 for Linux on x86_64 ((Ubuntu))`.
Hello everybody,
would it be possible to integrate the TRX-Control for TS-890 and IC-9700 or does anybody know what to do to make TRX Control for TS-890 and IC-9700 working?
I use the two radios mentioned above. Both are connected to the pc via usb. That works fine with serval logsofts but not with cqrlog. Any help welcome.

CQRLOG 2.4
Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
64 bit system
Two radios:
Elecraft K3
Yaesu FT-897
Rig control works for whichever radio I put in Radio one, but switching to Radio two does not work. Nothing happens, CQRLOG remains with Radio one.
libhamlib-utils and libhamlib2 are both installed
The "Run rigctld when program starts" box is checked for both Radio one and Radio two.
Am I just missing something?
Hi
Since several weeks I am experiencing this issue: after a QSO and trying to upload it directly to ClubLog and HRDLog, the Clublog messages are 'Clublog: Deleting RR73 ClubLog: QSO Details Not Matched' and is not uploadad. HRDLog works ok.

Hi -
I'm playing with DXClusters.
For many years, I've used VE7CC cluster, and I have a profile retained on this telnet-server, which keeps my settings. But I don't have these settings on other cluster nodes, when I try using different nodes.
Under Preferences -> DXCluster -> Connect I can see where to enter a command when I connect. This works, but only for a single-command, it seems :-( I cannot find a way (a suitable separator) for multiple commands.
Ok, I know I'm doing something weird, but bear with me.
Rig is a Flex 6300. I am using -m 236 for the argument for rigctl, but I'm posting from memory here, so it may not be right in this post. Rest assured it is correct in my configuration.
I can configure CQRLOG to use a flex virtual TCP port on my local windows machine, and it works. The rigctl argments in this case are:
/usr/bin/rigctld -m 236 -r windows1.mydomain.com:60001 -t 4532
Hi,
i have set up the "rigctld" according to the manual "Setting up rigctld for multiple programs" for my K3. But since I alternately run my K2 with CQRLOG, I have the question, how can I change the RIGs with this method.
Can I start "rigctld" for two different RIGs simultaneously so that I can use the RIG selection in CQRLOG?
Is it possible to "Setting up rigctld for multiple programs and two rigs"?

Hi there,
it would be handy to integrate the free-text message from the cluster into the popup-notifications.
All needed would be a variable like $MSG to be filled from the cluster-input.
Just a handy idea ...

I'll start by saying this is my first time using CRQLOG. I have it installed, talking to my radio, LOTW, QRZ, etc.
I have having an issue with time. It is off 2 hours from my computer time. If my computer says its 14:00, CRQLOG will say its 16:00. My computer time is set to UTC-4, EDT. Time in all other applications are right.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
I'm just wondering, what good the mode-limits will do for me, if entered in the frequencies table.
My assumption was, that if no TRX-Connection is present, the mode will be picked as a suggestion from the table, though offering the option to overwrite it.
This is apparently not the case, as the setting ist taken from the Preferences - New QSO defaults.
My current understanding is as follows:
The frequencies table specifies the *starting* frequency for the relevant mode. That would make e.g. the following values for 80m in Germany:
I know this issue has been mentioned before but I thought I would share my experiences with this issue when trying to upload a log contains a record from SP5BGG.
In my case the issue appears to be due to his name being recorded as >tadek< on hamqth.
This gets encoded in the CQRLOG as >tadek< (I removed the ; delimiters here to stop the encoding getting processed by HTML) and it is this encoding which seems to be the issue with uploading to clublog.
Hi,
I have got new callsign and I add it to my old profile at qthcom. Next I changed my call sign to new one in cqrlog-> preferences-> station and logging qsos under my new callsign to the same database. Now when I uploading qsos made under new callsign to hamqth.com log they are going to my old callsign log instead of new one.
Any suggestions to fix it?

Hello all,
I have seen a lot of people wanting to use LM20 (me included), and they are having problems to get it working...
There are a few issues....
- OK2CQR PPA does not support focal (yet)
- The CQRlog 2.4.0-3 package in the LM20 repository does NOT work due to mysql being automatically installed! You need mariadb
So.... how to install CQRlog that it will work on LM20........
Its quite simple to be honest.... just 2 commands in a shell...
sudo apt install mariadb-common mariadb-server mariadb-client
sudo apt install cqrlog
Just updated to Mint 20 and wanted to add the PPA.
Error Message (bad Translation from German): PPA could not added. This PPA doesn't support focal.
PPA kann nicht hinzugefügt werden: »'Dieses PPA unterstützt focal nicht'«

I get error
"Error during connection to database:

Last lines of MySQL error:
How do I have CQ repeat on recorded CW messages ? I use the TS-2000 and HAMLIB interface.

I recently changed my call sign. Since my old call is use as my ID for validation purposes, how do I remove the old one and replace it with the new one and keep my E-mail address - Thanks Steve //
Summary: Please add Cabrillo (version 3.0) export
Background: I use Gentoo Linux. Unforutunately, the Gentoo repostories only have CQRLog 2.3.0, and they entirely omit adif2cabrillo. And the alternative - compiling a 5-year-old abandon-ware from source, while bypassing my package-manager's forward-/reverse-dependencies seems like the usual "really bad idea" :-(
I already read the manual, and couldn't find any information on importing ADIFs via the command line or other automated method.
Is this possible?
If no, can I please make it a feature request? I have a BASH script which auto uploads new QSO information to LotW, eQSL.cc and ClubLog. I'd like to import those QSOs into CQRLog automatically as well, as it is my centralized logger under Linux.
Thank you and 73,
-Dave W3DJS
