LoTW users

Hi everybody,
I've been using the program for some 2 years now. I'm using Mint Isadora 64b. Last week I installed the last 1.0.2 version from Ubuntu 10.04 repository and upload my log from adif. Now I'm comparing the the last one with the 0.9.5, but I can't get any info about LoTW users. On the older version I can see them either on the cluster window (highlighted) and after clicking them, on the main one with the red "L". Instead, on the 1.0.2, I can't see any sign of it. Preferences are the same, in particular, I ticked "Show info in new QSO window..." in both LoTW support section.

QRZ.COM

Id like to be able to tap into qrz.com when busy with a qso. Is there anything I need to do in order to do this? I get a message in the qrz box on the bottom right side of cqrlog screen that logging in is required for more info to be displayed. I seem to remember that qrz.com did change their particulars for linking in to logging programs. Any one remember or can tell me what I need to do?

Interferance when transmitting

Hi,

I now have cqrlog talking nicely with my rig. But the rig may be talking too much back! When I transmit (particularly cw) I get garbage being filled into the call box on cqrlog (if the curser is on that box). I have noticed that this is true for any box that the curser happens to be on at the time of the transmission. Only noticed it on the 17m band. Is this cause for a bug report or is it interference from the rig?

How to export QSO for label printing?

Hi all,

I wonder if the procedure for label printing has changed. Yesterday I did some QSL work and marked abt 120 QSO with 'SB' (Send Bureau).
Today I want to print those marked QSO on QSLs, using a CSV file and gLabels:

CTRL-O (QSO list)
Menu 'QSL' --> Export for label printing

Then a dialogue box appears telling me "You do not have filter enabled or do not have QSO sorted by callsign! This could cause that you won't have more callsigns on one label andonly last 500 QSO will be printed. Do you want to continue?".

What to backup new 1.02 version?

I installed new version, but now folders is different as before. Older version I take backup "cqrlog.fdb" files, but how about that new version? What should backup?

And second:
How to import old settings from older soft to new cqrlog? Of course it's not very big thing make all again, but maybe some settings file is still same?

QSO List

Installed 1.0.2 and now ADIF import working fine which is good news.
When however I view the QSO's in the QSO List, it only scrolls back to 2007.
I have confirmed that the program has imported all the QSO's but why will it not let me look at all off them in the QSO List?
Am I doing something wrong?

Column Header Titles.

Just downloaded 1.0.1 to discover that ADIF import is broken, but I read that that is being worked on.
And so I have had a chance to have a good look at the new version.
It looks very nice, but I have a question.
Is there a way to change the Column Header Titles from lower case to capitals.
To my eyes the lower case titles do not match with the rest of the forms which are in upper case.

ADI File import Ver1.0.1

Hi

I just upgraded from 9.6 to 1/0/1 using the Ubuntu Software Centre ( I just clicked the first option in the list - CQRLOG)

However, I cant seem to get my ADI file to load using - File > Show QSO List - Then - File > Import > ADIF.

- The open existing file comes up
- I select the ADI file and click OK
- The importing ADI file window comes up
- Filled in the remarks and selected a QTH profile
- Click import and instantly a red flag comes up saying complete with the word DONE in the bottom left corner
- No errors are reported and importing number remains at zero.

Anyone With A Fresh Ubuntu 11.04 And Working Rig Control?

Just curious if anyone has working rig control with a standard CQRLog installation on a fresh Ubuntu 11.04 system? With the 11.04 and latest CQRLog, the program doesn't seem to poll the rig (watching a terminal) at anytime. It's almost as if the logger can't access the serial port, but fldigi doesn't have a problem when configured to use hamlib. I have tried a standard RS-232 serial port and a USB <-> serial cable which also works on previous versions of CQRLog. I just loaded Ubuntu 10.10 and the latest CQRLog and all works fine.
