CQRLOG - open discusion

Great new release!

Tnx guys, 0.7.0 installs and runs on Ubuntu 8.10 without any problems whatsoever.

Imported 14371 QSOs from VQlog (via ADIF) with only one problem - IOTA EU054 - Egadi Island - was not accepted as valid!

Now if somebody could just teach me/help me getting LoTW installed. the explanation on ARRLs homepage is beyond me and my meager knowledge.

I now have one less dependency on Windows - Hurrah!

Tnx fr V 0.7 !

Petr and Martin,

just want to say TNX for the new version.. just have done the installation on my 32 bit Debian SID (desktop) and my 32 bit Debian Lenny (laptop..) and following your upgrade guide all action was smooth and pain free.

Great work and just another step to improve the ham radio software collection around Tux and his friend :-)

32 libarires in 64 bit Debian

If anyone is having problems getting the new cqrlog-0.7.0 to start as I did last night (with libhamlib.so.2 error). I found this solution to install 32 bit libraries in Debian 5.0 x86_64.

First go this to this page and read the howto.

http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/531

And get the libhamlib2 package from here.

http://packages.debian.org/lenny/libhamlib2

Open terminal as root and install basic libraries, than cd to libhamlib2 file you downloaded and write these commands to install.

dpkg -X libhamlib2_1.2.7.1-1_i386.deb /emul/ia32-linux

cqrlog refuses to start

hi,

had 0.6.0 running fine (couple of access violation errors) but it worked.

Downloaded the .gz and ran the install.sh from bash

Everything installed, no errors (apart from VK oem something)

When executing, cqrlog appears in the task bar then after a few seconds quits. No other warnings or errors displayed.

Anyone else getting problems?

Thanks for the log system guys it really does rock.

Regards and 73,
Tim

Compiling with newer lazarus

I have been trying to compile CQRLOG without much success. I downloaded lazarus 0.9.26 (not 0.9.24 as recommended) and got it working. Trying to install UIB gave me some compilation problems that I could get around by adding a type-cast that I'm not to sure is correct. Installing lnet was problem free.

Trying to comile cqr-log however also give compilation problems.

unfortunately I don't have my compilation machine close to here so I can't give any details for the moment.

LoTW import/export

After testing all of the linux logging programs I finally found CQRLOG and it is by far the best. So thank you!

(running Fedora 10 w/ binary install of cqrlog)

I started entering the QSO's from my paper log into CQRLOG last night and wanted to try the LoTW functions. I was able to export and sign successfully but when I click on the Upload button nothing seems to happen. In the status box I get:
