Hi all,
successfully installed CQRLog into my ex Fedora 12 linux installation, and still have in my netbook with Ubuntu 11.10 ... and I declare CQRLog as a very nice piece of linux software, thank you very much!
But, it doesn't work in my new linux installation, PCLinuxOS 2012.02 KDE 4.6.5 . It looks like that problem is with installing mysql-server which doesn't exist in available package list.
Maybe somebody has any experience with installing CQRLog into PCLinuxOS (and have the same problem)?
Thank you very much, 73s from Zagreb area!
Hi,
I had a break from radio stuff and recently got myself back into the deep end.
I was using 0.9. something and i have installed the 1.4 (latest as per todays date) but the backup that imade of the entire tree has a cqrlog.fdb file that i understand is the log.
How do i get this back into the new version of cqrlog ?
regards
Tim
Some spots show with a black background, which makes the letters not visible.
Why is the background black and can I adjust it to different color or % shading?
Thanks Dan kc2sta
Petr,
Somewhere along the lines with updated libraries on my Debian Sid box, CQRlog fails to start with the splash screen being simply a white rectangle and the program goes no further. There is a Debian bug report on the libcairo package which CQRlog links to and as it was causing text corruption in other programs I downgraded it. I noticed that libpangocairo is linked by CQRlog so I downgraded the libpango package as well. I still get the startup hang. Even starting from a terminal window shows no output and 'ldd' shows no missing libraries. I'm stumped.
Hello---
For the DXCC report, could it be expanded to be like other reports such as WAZ?
So that one could review modes, bands and develop NEEDED list?
Thanks Dan kc2sta
I would dearly love to have a set of programmable macro buttons or hot keys for the DXcluster. It would be really helpful for those of us looking for certain country for DXCC
It gets really old typing "show/dx sv" or any other number of regularly used commands
In fact even a scroll back buffer in the command field would be great that way you could use the up arrow key to scroll through your previous commands and simply hit enter when you find the right one..
Not sure if this is a bug in CQRlog or in TQSL, either way there might be something that could be done in CQRlog to mitigate the confusion.
It seems as though there's an issue with the way CQRlog interfaces with TQSL where trailing white spaces in the call sign field cause a signing problem and that problem is not being reported back to the user in a why that lets the user resolve the issue.
After reinstal the system I used the last version on ubuntu 11/10 and ceased to function radio control. If I change freq in trx, soft responsive, but if I want to do something within the program, the program is blocked...

hello,
When I enter a DX call,
The top line is cut off with the remaining partial data in view.
It seems as if the info was shifted "up" several lines inside the box.

The confirmed counters are not zerowed when counting starts. So if a mode has a count of 0 it will display the count of the previous mode.
he following is an example
DXCC Count 0 0 18 22 20 15 12 19 106
DXCC CFM 0 0 2 5 10 5 4 1 27
DXCC PHONE 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Running CQRLOG V 1.3.1 in Debian SID and Debian Stable (two maschines..), installed by dpkg -i the 386er package after download ..
Problem: I can't poll any info from the HamQTH Database .. instead of any call related infoamtion I get only an error like message:
Tag "*session_id*" not found!
(please relplace the * by 'less than ' and 'greater than' signs.. that won't pass the html tag filter in the forum)
(this is an old problem for me since shift to HamQTH in V 1.xx .. that never worked for me)
Hi!
I am continuously amazed with CQRLog. It is great piece of code!!
I have subscribed to QRZ.com I can populate the Grid, QTH and other fields in Edit QSO with F11
Also, I use automatic Database Update for older QSO
However, I noticed that grid does not update automagically :(
What to do?
73, Tom
When using the packet cluster and someone sends a "Talk" message to me, like to have a bell sound implemented to notify me.
I just installed CQRLog 1.2.2 in Ubuntu 11.10 and imported an ADIF file from AA6YQ's DXKeeper program. CQRLog statistics show that I have worked 312 DXCC entities, which is correct. However CQRLog says I only have 281 DXCC confirmed when the total should be 309. I have compared the ADIF file to the statistics chart in CQRLog and most of the errors seem to be CQRLog not reading the ADIF file correctly. Which ADIF format does CQRLog recognize? I believe my ADIF file is ADIF 2.0 format.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Need the settings for the K3 rig control. Anyone?
thanks.

Hi there,
I kept my log book file for future use, but it seems to be in the wrong format for CQRLOG. I noticed that CQRLOG requires ini.file for import (I think that's correct), but my log is a .mdb file - I would be grateful if someone could assist me by telling me how I can change it.
Thanks.

I'm just testing CQRlog. Thanks to Petr for the great program!
Program works very good with my openSuSE 12.1. No problems with
the ADIF-Import from my Logprojekt/WinXP. All the DXCC were correct identified!
Here my congrats to Martin for the great job with the DXCC/Country-files!
But I found a problem with the column in the "New QSO Window" in the upper part of this
window.
I arranged the visible column in my own order in the "QSO List Window" with the wide
so I that wish. No problem - the column are permanently fixed. In the "New QSO Window"
Hello
I have found the ssbd ( SSB daemon) which is voice keyer for use in hamradio It's written as part of Tucnak, contest log for VHF contests, but is possible to use ssbd with arbitrary other program. Primary site is http://tucnak.nagano.cz/ssbd.html, mirror is http://www.penguin.cz/~ziav/tucnak/ssbd.html. It is licensed under terms of GPL.
I wonder if use it would be easy way to implement voice keyer in CQRLOG?

Newcomer to cqrlog. Been a WindowsXP user and logging program was DX4WIN and from this logging program I converted my log to an ADI file which is now on my desktop. What is the easiest way to put the ADI log into cqrlog? There are over 5500 qso's in this file.
thanks

Hi Petr,
Thanks for a great piece of Linux Ham software. I'm sure this is probably just an issue where I'm missing a library or something easy. Any ideas?
I'm having issues with both LoTW and eQSL.
I get this when uploading to LoTW:
Starting export to adif ...
Export to the adif file completed.
File:
/home/craigw/.config/cqrlog/lotw/2012-03-08_22-05-27.adi

If you did not see any errors, you can send signed file to LoTW website by pressing Upload button

Hello---
I have a winkey keyer, and am wondering how the winkey usb server is used?
For example could it be used to drive my keyer with fldigi which is not set up for winkey but can key a xmiter?
Thanks dan kc2sta
Hi!
I am a FISTS member
I use CQRLog to log my FISTS contacts
I successfully set to automatically write FISTS number to Award field - works great
However, I wanted to write FISTS number to Comment field, strangely enough called Remarks somewhere and Commt. to QSO elsewhere and COMMENTS in Adif file. I need it for FISTS Log Converter, the only program for Windows I use :O
I attach the sequence of window events with it (it is reversed, begin from last picture)
Many thanks to all who develop and support cqrlog.
It is a wonderful package and I use it a lot. Thank You.
I have been running 1.3 and 1.3.1 and I cannot get the qso list filter screen to to fit on my desktop. The bottom portion that has the OK or Close button is not visible and consequently cannot invoke a filter.
I have tried mint 12 with genome, cinnamin and mate widow managers plus all system display options and still can't get to the bottom of the filter screen to click ok. I also used ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 with the same results.
