Sorry if this has been discussed previously I presently run two versions 0.9.6 (Suse 11.0) and 1.4.1 (Kbuntu 12.04) and appear to
have a problem with the iota window. On both machines I adif import qso's when correcting IOTA's if the window is not highlighted in RED then selecting the pulldown arrow it crashes.
I can enter manually and appears to be correct in the statistics.
Thank you, Keith, g3rtu
Hi,
I want to type in my 12k QSL-cards to have an overview. Of course this is very time consuming and take a long while (I tried a lot of LogPrograms -
I made a kind of workflow to use a very simple interface which allows a minimum of typing for each card (e.g. Q DF1LX CW 80 -> all contacts will be marked as QSL received with DF1LX on 80m,
DF1LL CW 123 create a new record using the QRG from the Rig and Time from PC)
And much more.
I previously used another logging program that only used ADIF (actually it was fldigi, I used it for all my logging for almost 2 years before switching to CQRLOG!)
The QSO comments, when imported from fldigi, are put in "comments for callsign" rather than "comment for QSO", which is wrong in many cases. Also I suspect when multiple QSO's were had with the same callsign, the comments for later qso's overwrite the previous ones.
Please can there be an option where the imported comments from ADIF comment fields get put in the "per QSO" comment field instead?
It would be great if one log could be used for multiple callsigns, e.g. on my netbook when I am travelling it would be nice not to have to set up a new log each time I need to sign with a different callsign (M0TRN, M0TRN/P, MW0TRN, MQ0TRN, OV5T, OV5T/P, F/OV5T etc.)
Sure it could be done with QTH profile and just ignore the fact that the program doesn't know which call I used, but there should be a "my callsign" field in the profile so it would still work with LoTW uploads etc.
1: If the band map has many entries the top scrolls off the window, when something is added to it it scrolls to the bottom of the list. It should track the QRG and center the list on the rig QRG so that the part of the band the VFO is tuned to is always visible. (Annoying to have to scroll up every time something gets added from cluster).
2: It would be cool if mouse-over a call on the band map would show the comments from the DX cluster spot (e.g. "Up 2").
Hi
Has anyone very long passwd in qrz.com. Namely I changed mine there consist 11 marks. And then I changed it in cqr log. Now, when I typed new qso, I got response "wrong passwd". Ok, went to test it with Firefox, worked ok there. Now changed pwd. in qrz into 7 marks and did same in cqrlog. Now it works... Has anyone tested same?

When i start CrLog the first time then it is not possible to use the ALT/` to make a DX spot on the cluster.
When i shut down cqrlog and then start cqrlog for the second then ALT/` works nice.
I have just installed CQRLOG v1.5.0, and it is a pretty impressive piece of software, unfortunately though I have one issue, I cannot get it to talk to my tranceiver.
I am running an Icom IC9100 which is connected to the computer directly by a USB cable.
I have been unable to find information for the required settings for v1.5.0, so I may have got my set up wrong,
Hi,
is possible to add a script to perform user defined commands after login?
Like "SH/DX 50" to populate bandmap and so on..
Thanx,

Hello and first of all thank you very much for your program and all the efforts to keep it running.
I would like to report what, in my humble opinion, might be a bug. I use CQRLOG version 1.5.0 with Ubuntu 12.04. When I scroll the qso list with the mouse wheel or with the page down button, after a while it stops and I get this warning window:
AutoInc Fields are read-only.
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program
It happens with logs containing around 7.000 qsos as well as with the one having less than 2.000 qsos.
I've followed the instruction on http://www.cqrlog.com/download and added CQRLOG’s repository and dowloaded cqrlog_1.5.0-1_i386.deb but CQRLog still reports version 1.4.1.
Anyone know how I get around this. Using Linux Mint 12 here.
when clicking on call in bandmap or cluster, call field clears after second or two, it switches frequency and stays there though.
Upgraded from 1.4.1_1 to 1.5.0_1.

Hi
Using Fedora 17 and so far cqrlog been working ok. I think some time ago, got updates into Mysql. Now can't connect anymore into database.
Symptoms started, I could type only one qso and save it, after that could not type more. I unchecked "automode" from qsowindow and restarted
cqrlog, now I get: Error during connection database: Server connect failed.
Next: Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window. Then normal press ok to ignore ...etc.
What might have happened?
Hello, I am running ver 1.4.1.
If I use ctrl-o and bring up the qso-list-window.
Then I select any qso to view or edit.
If I then close the qso-list-window before typing esc-esc to clear the main-window,
it will crash.
It is not so if you keep the qso-list-window open when I press esc-esc.
Ctrl-F2 does not have this error.
Something from the console says something about "focus":
select * from cqrlog_common.qslmgr where (callsign = 'SV1CQN') and (fromDate <= '2012-07-23') order by fromDate
I have CQRLOG 1.4.1 on two of my computers running Ubuntu Lucid. One of the logs is missing a few QSOs. I want to move the complete log (the one that has the missing QSOs) to the other computer. I don't want to do an export /import but prefer to just copy the log file over to the other computer. I cannot find the log file. I have searched on CQRLOG including hidden files and do not find anything. Where is the log file hidden????
Help would be appreciated.

Hello petr, sorry disorder, can have chance to change the date format eg: 07/17/2012 to 17/07/2012.
ciao e grazie petr 73 flavio ;-)
Hello.I use cqrlog for some weeks now. I miss some points I use with my other logger (using wine):
-If I use a command like sh/dx in the cluster. I think its vy nice to have the output in the Bandmap too. So I have not to wait for fill up the bandmap.
-There are no comments in the Bandmap (like 1 up ) to have this is helpfull too
-I wish to set a worked callsign hidden (same Band, same Mode) if I want.
Tnx for the nice Program.

been kinda tinkering around with Mint and CQRlog, I cant seem to get the auto look up to work, I have all the proper things set up right, but when I input the call into the log it does not auto fill the name or the qth and in the callbook window it just puts (500): that is it. puts other info in like CQ and ITU, all the little windows that show the user uses LOTW and EQSL, QRZ and HAMqth, I click on both HAMqth and QRZ and it opens the proper page, any ideas?? Just learning Linux, so apologies to experienced users. Sys: AMD Athlon XP2600+ 32bit. Radeon 9550XL. No proprietary drivers.
12.04 (Precise) downloaded May 2012, use Ubuntu desktop
Installed cqrlog from the above download. It is 1.2.2-2ubuntu1 per Synaptic Package Mgr.
When I try to launch program, only see grey rectangle in middle of screen.
I thought I saw a note from Petr that said this combination may be "broken".
Should I first UNinstall the current version before trying a later version?
Thank you all, Ws4f
