It would be useful to have also the azimuth map for a real view of the orientation of the rotor, further the grey line map.
Thanks of all.

Ever since updating Ubuntu 12.04 to the latest kernel (3.2.0-26-generic-pae) I have been unable to manually export my log data in ADIF or HTML format. The Auto-backup feature still works and will export the entire log in ADIF format when the program is closed. Is anyone else having a similar problem and is there a solution?

I have two problems. The first is that in CQRLog, now that I enabled TRX Control, I can't seem to turn it off, even after changing all of the preferences for it back to default.
The second problem is that when I start FLDigi in remote mode from CQRLog, CQRLog is not letting fldigi take TRX control. When I start FLDigi on it's own, it works fine, but if CQRLog is open at all, CQRLog takes rig control.
Any ideas?
OS: Ubuntu 10.10
Rig: Yaesu FT-990
CQRLog Version: 1.4.1
Fldigi Version: 3.21.45
This is not strictly a bug but a behaviour which I think could be improved. It will only occur with logs not linked to your radio's frequency data via serial cable or udp connection.
With more precision allowed with the frequency it may contain enough digits that the significant number scrolls out of the left hand side of the edit box leaving only the decimal point showing.
Hi
How come you make callsign bold or fonstize bigger. I mean only callsign.
Example, Confirming qso with: ${4}, so how do you manage set so, that ${4} becomes bold... If I try set it, all text becomes bold in Glabels??
Please, some ironwire advice :D

I'm wondering if I've found a bug in "Database update" or if I'm not using it correctly.
Okay, here's what I'm doing. I'm importing an ADIF file with a handful of QSOs from another logging program (JT65-HF). These QSOs don't have names or qth's on them. To have CQRLOG go out and find the names from HamQTH, I go to the Callbook menu, and select "Database update".
Hi all,
question from a DL ham who doesn't have good English skills:
Are there still plans do add a rotator control interface? There's not much about this in the forum, only a comment from Petr, that he has it on his ToDo list. As far as I've read in some hamlib release information, there is a daemon for that.
My old version had settings where you could set the speed, etc. I know I can dig around and find those settings and pass them along, but the old version used to have them right there, and with the new version, my rig locks into TX if I don't set the DTR correctly (which the old version did)...
I think lots of people wouldn't think to set these things since they aren't right there in the setup window... took me a half hour to figure out what my problem was after troubleshooting (because I went through all of that years ago when I got my rig)...
Hi all,
At first I'd like to thank Petr for the email that helped me to log into these pages.
I have CQRLog set up and running. Everything seems to work fine so far except importing from LOTW. Both directly and local file lock up the programme and cause high CPU usage.
My guess is I must have overlooked something but to this point I can't seem to figure out what.
I have read about this issue in an older version but not with 1.4.1.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and fairly new to Linux. Does anyone have a clue of what is wrong with my set up?
Band Map does not populate
I've just installed cqrlog 1.4.1 on Linux Mint 13 "Maya", based on Ubuntu 12.04, but I can't connect any dx cluster service.
Any clue?
Thanks and 73 de ik3swb, Enzo
Hi,
I'm using Kenwood TS-850S connected to my computer via a USB port. TRX control doesn't worked with CQRLOG 1.4.1 and Xubuntu 12.04. Here is the information displayed in Terminal when I click on "Refresh TRX Control" in CQRLOG:
RigCtldPath:/usr/bin/rigctld
RigCtldArgs:-m %m -r %r -t %t -s 4800
RunRigCtld: TRUE
RigDevice: /dev/ttyUSB0
RigCtldPort:4532
RigCtldHost:localhost
RigPoll: 500
RigSendCWR: FALSE
RigId: 209
Can we get some sort or filter options?
Sometime I want to see it by when it comes in
Sometimes only the band I am on.
I do use it!!

I would like to see one more mode button for TRX Control. Many of the Yaesu radios have PKT, When I am in Packet mode for the digital modes, the TRX window flashed from FM to nothing back to FM.... More Annoying...

Hi,
modern transceivers with a build-in CW-keyer can generate Morse-code via CAT-interface. Via hamlib this can be achieved with the "b" command (send_morse). I tested it successfully via the hamlibd-daemon (started with cqrlog) with following command:
echo "b text to send as morse code" | nc localhost 4532
(hamlib V.1.2.14 -> Kenwood TS-590S)
It would be nice to have a third option under Preferences -> CW Interface: "hamlibd".

Has anyone compiled for ARM? I noticed that there is now a FreePascal compiler for ARM. I just purchased a Raspberry Pi and would like to put CQRLOG on it. I know there is other stuff to compile to get the it up and running; that would have to be done also. It would be a neat use of the Raspberry PI to support my station. The Pi is a "QRP" package, so that would fit well with portable usage too.

From hamlib freq readout, allow the QSO window to clear all data whenever band or few Kc change. (Like Logger32 does).
(I press enter if I make the contact, I move the VFO searching for another DX if I don't).
This saves the time to focus mouse and press Esc twice to clear the failed contact.
If found convenient and feasible, make it selectable on Preferences.
Thank you!
When typing S3HWS into my log it showed as an unknown country. Unfortunately I thought it was a pirate and would not work him, haha. Never mind I may strike him again. I think there is a bug with the S3 prefix.

I want to update my computer from Linux Mint 11 to Xubuntu 12.04 so that my preferences will work in CQRLOG. I can't export my log as an adif file because I only have a small subset of the fields enabled and of course can not use the preferences to enable them all. After searching for the file "/home/~/cqrlog/log_data/cqrlog.fdb" as described in the help I can not find it. I am thinking the help info may be obsolete and would be grateful if someone could tell me what file I need to transfer to my new 12.05 build.

Hi,
I would like in the "Database Connection" window have a choice of profiles.
For example:
The first profile "xx": server 192.168.2.105, port 3306, user xx, pass xx, databases xx_cqrlog_common and xx_cqrlog001
The second profile "yy": server 192.168.2.105, port 3306, user yy, pass yy, databases yy_cqrlog and yy_cqrlog001
The third profile "zz": server 192.168.2.107, port 2223, user zz, pass zz, databases simple_databases1 and simple_databases2.
It is also a good idea to put everything in one database with a choice of database name.
Petr,
I posted this on LinuxHam (yahoo group) today. Probably should have posted it here first. Sorry.
The problem does not seem quite the same as Derak's (SP2MKI).
Nothing is appearing on my CQRLOG bandmap anymore. Everything else is working fine. The DXCluster spots come in with no problems and all TRX Control functions are controlling my Kenwood TS-480-SAT without error. Frequency readout is correct. Band and mode switching are working fine.
Hi Petr,
1) I had more than one profile on eqsl; iw3hli is0/iw3hli iw3hli/3 and so on.
The download system works only by predefined call on preferences; now I'm changing by hand the login and password for every account.
2) I have two iw3hli account, with different locator and start/stop date.
Eqsl system give me an error, because it requires two passwords for recognizing the old call and the new call.
The solution for both problems could be to move eqsl login/password from general preferences to cqrlog's profile.
Hi, I noticed that a wrong call makes a "Callsign not found" text in callbook field.
When I insert the correct call the result in callbook field is like this image:
