Everything else seems right. Here's a shot of the screen activity. Never changes mode, even for CW

<p>This past weekend, for a contest, I tried to used the <CLRLOG> tag to clear the logging fields, after logging the contact. All the other tags seemed to work, but the <CLRLOG> tag just seemed to generate a "^C" (carat capital C) characters on the typing screen. Is this the expected behaviior? Did I have to also insert some character that would act to confirm the "Do you want to clear the logging fields?" window that opens when I manually click the 'broom" icon to clear the fields?</p>
Hello Conceptors and all OM,
As I using the new digimode JS8Call, I would like to know if Cqrlog plan on this mode addition ?

Hi,
i am using Kubuntu 18.04-LTS, 64bit. Yesterday I integrated the repository "ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports" for testing and installed the updates.
Then I noticed that the CQRLOG Telnet DXCluster does not react or freeze after a short time.
The effect remains if you remove the repository with "sudo ppa-purge ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports".
After copying the backup image back, the Telnet DXCluster window works normally again.
I can't find out where the problem is. Maybe the hint helps in general.

Grayline map is not keeping proper time. QSO window shows my time correctly but the map seems to be about 2 hours behind my sunrise. Could it be because Ubuntu 18.04 LTS is not supported here?

I know that this is a subject that is addressed several times. I looked through those threads and tried what was suggested to no avail. I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I keep getting
Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.
Here is the output from cqrlog debug=1
ee@lee-Inspiron-3647:~$ cqrlog debug=1
Gtk-Message: 23:17:17.144: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

I have a new install of Linux Mint 19 (within the last two months), installed mysql and "Adminer" database manager to verify that mysql is working with my "normal" userid. When I run cqrlog debug=1 I get the following output:

My config for remote control IC-7610 and CW keying through cwdaemon:
After upgrading my rig to ic7300 I can now do all controlling of rig via usb cable. No need any more for separate arduino keyer.
Just selected Preferences/CW interface/ Interfaces type: Hamlib
Is there anyway to pick or mark certain qso's from the show qso list and create a filter from the ones selected to export for QSL Printing? Am I missing something simple here?
Say I received 8 new QSL cards in the mail and I want to create a filter for just those 8 so that I can print a label for each, how would I go about that?
Hello.
Been using cqrlog for several years without any kind of serious issues, and it's a great piece of software for the Linux ham :)
hi,
I would need some advice. I am back to amateur radio, using my old K2 Elecraft, and I installed CQRLog. I am trying to connect my RS232 K2 to my computer, (linux mint) using an RS232/USB adapter.
Thanks to the previous post from w3khd , rigctld is now apparently working. But the rig control is still not there, Could you give me some ideas on how to continue to investigate .... Thanks. 73 de Pierre
Below what I have
pf@pf-W240EU-W250EUQ-W270EUQ ~ $ cqrlog
Ubuntu 18.04.01
CQRLOG 2.3.0 (001)
WSJT-X 2.0.0-rc2
Now that I'm hunting for states in WSJT-X, I realized that in 99% of the cases the state listed in the "Wsjt-x CQ-monitor" window for a callsign doesn't match the state listed in the "New QSO" window for the same callsign.
The state information in the "New QSO" window is coming from HamQTH.com. Where is the "Wsjt-x CQ-monitor" window getting the state information that it displays?
Thanks!

Hello
Decided to install the Mint distribution and overwrite Ubuntu. For CQRLOG purposes what files, documents, etc should be saved to an external drive for later transfer into CQRLOG running on Mint? Would there be any conflict?

Local ham runs Linux Mint asked if cqrlog would run on Linux Mint. Will it since Mint is debian based?

Hi,
when the satellite mode is enabled for new qso and you enter a frequency in the "New QSO" form in the field "Frequency" a comma , in the number is always replaced by a point. just enter a frequency number with a comma, and the comma is asap switched to a point.
when you now enter a frequency in the RX frequency comma and point both
is possible.
comma frequency leads to a NULL in the Insert Statement to cqrlog_main.
I am a new Ham with a new Icom 7300 Transceiver. Does anyone have the settings I need to get my machine up, connected, and running with CQRLOG? It would be greatly appreciated and would save me a lot of time. Thanks!
