database error

Hello,
Trying to get CQRLOG up and running on a Raspberry Pi3 Desktop. I have installed it successfully, however when I run it, it shows an error to the effect of not being able to find certain MySQL libraries. I have tried completely wiping MySQL and re-installing it and re-installing CQRLOG as well, only to get the same results. I'm not really verse with Linux, just starting. I can follow instructions. Please help.
Thank you,
Eric Raymond - K7EBR
I did a clean install of the new Linux Mint distro (19.1) and copied all my
home files, including hidden files. After downloading a fresh install of
CQRlog, I get:
Executable not found: "my sqld".
and
Error during connection to database:
TMySQL57Connection: Server connect failed.
When I clicked on Utils, I got
List index (0) out of bounds.
any help would be appreciated. I really like this logging program!

Any idea ?

So I think I found two bugs.
The first possible bug was found when trying to log a call sign that pulled up with an extra long county.
The second possible possible bug was when trying to go back several years. CQRLOG crashes while loading old logs.
Do these happen to be already known bugs?
Thanks,

Any suggestions to solve this issue?
When starting CQRLOG I get a long pause and then:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection : Server connect failed.
The mysql.err has no errors. Just the proper shutdown the last time I used CQRLOG.
I did a "cqrlog debug=1 > /tmp/debug.txt" and got;
Cqrlog Ver:2.3.0 (001) Date:2018-06-17
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
I am running CQRLog 2.3.0 (002) on Ubuntu Linux and would like to see support added for new mode FT4.
I am running WSJT-X 2.1.0-rc5, and tried importing its ADIF file into CQRLog, only to have the FT4 entries rejected as errors.
Thank you.
Hi all,
everyone but Petr could just ignore this ;-)

Hi,
while preparing my application for CW Excellence Award by TBDXC (https://www.tbdxc.net/awards) I set up filter to date from 2018-10-01 till today, mode CW, sort by Call and group by dxcc_ref. The resulting score contained also JX7X wich was a pirated call and has DXCC ref. = #.
This means that # in statistics counts as a regular DXCC point. It should be fixed!
Thanks for all the hard work that is being put into this logger, it is awesome. A request if I may, a bit better filtering on the DX cluster would be nice, Like only see spots from "X" county etc, this would be very helpful, especially during contest when the thing goes crazy. I am in the USA, and to see spots coming from Europe is not very helpful and being able to filter these out would slow down the cluster. Thanks! Tom K8WDX
Thank you so much for creating this excellent software. I have just installed it and having a play around. Have got rig control working with the ic-7300 but if I open the TRX window and then close it, it loses connection to the rig and frequency doesn't update. I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour or if there is anything I can do to fix it?
Best wishes,

Hi!
Beta test binary is now uploaded to my web page.
This is a big update.
I like to thank Andreas, DL7OAP, for his great help, Without his help this beta may never appeared. It is lot more easier and fun to make cooperative programming work and discuss different options and problems in daily basis.
Similar changes are pull requested to official version, so unless major bugs are found under beta test they should be equal. Depending of official's release time it may have some more additions/bug fixes included.
Joe, K1JT, and his team have released new version of wsjt-x.
It now includes fast FT4 mode mainly made for contest use. Period of FT4 is only 6 seconds, so that will affect to sensitivity that will be worse than FT8, but better than RTTY. Roughly saying the difference of sensitivity drop from FT8 is something like step from JT65 to FT8.
Team has selected "mode letter" to be plus "+". That is same as earlier times was reserved for mode T10 (I think it was JTDX's mode).
I would like to build an adif export file consisting of qso records that I manually select so that it matches the order that my cards will be submitted to ARRL for DXCC credit. This is suggested at the DXCC Online web site.
I thought I could do a Search for the call, then press the Select Current Record button, then Cancel Filter (shift-F12), and then do another search, etc, until I selected all of the records I want to include in the adif file export. Nope, when I press shift-F12 I get a blank message box and CQRLOG crashes, locked up.
My questions are:
Enter "R" into field QSL_SENT, export, the export has a "Y" instead of the "R".
On my log, I can't seem to get the start time to be the actual time that a QSO starts. They seem to be locked together so that they both reflect the end time of a QSO. How can I fix this?
When I close my CQRLog, I get a Status Page popping up saying:
Deleting original VK2NRC
Could not delete original QSO data
I do not want to delete this QSO and don't know why I continue to receive this message. It also seems to be preventing my newer QSOs to be automatically uploaded. How can I overcome this?
I would like to add AO-91 and AO-92 to my satellite menu as I do work these FM birds. How can I do this?
I have a Kenwood TS-50 that I have recently configured rig control to work with CQRLog (as Radio Two) by slowing down its rate of asking for information from the radio using a poll rate of 2500 and using
--set-conf=poll_interval=1000
in the Extra Command Lines Arguments and it works fine, but sometimes the TRX Control window will lose the frequency that the radio is at and show a frequency of 0.00000 even though (running CQRLog from command line) the Terminal shows that rigctl is receiving the frequency from the radio:
Sending: fmv
Hello,
I apologize for the stupid question but I still want to ask it: Is there a way to control my rig by pasting a frequency into a field somewhere? I like to use a cluster that is only available on the web and I would like to copy a frequency from it and paste it into the TRX control window or into a new QSO form to force my rig to change frequency.
Can that be done? Can CQRLOG do it?

Hi,
I might have some confusion in the bands setting.
In https://send.firefox.com/download/944a21da63b6a651/#Cz9jE5gpego8EIRwmBqFWg you can see I have 2 x 2190 m setting. If I change one of them both will be changed.
I expect one to be 630 m.
Any solution for this?

Hi,
Thanks a lot to you guys creating CQRLOG!
I have a problem. I have worked EA9 on SSB on both 20m and 10m. Both QSO:s are marked qsl_r as Q.
When I check the DXCC table only the QSO on 20m is marked as confirmed.
Any clue why?

Hi!
Just released 2.3.0-216b (just plain test binary for x86_64) to test a unknown property of kenwood rigctld (unknown as I do not have rig to test with). This weird property was reported by Jarmo, OH1MRR.
Some time ago I pull requested to change rig frequency and mode reading command from "fmv" to "fm" as the "v" was causing errors with icom rigs that do not support "get vfo" command vnd the vfo information seems not be used any way in cqrlog.
I don't know if this a bug because I am relatively new at cqrlog. In the new qso window, there is a list of new QSO's above the new QSO entry form. I see screen shots with new QSOs listed above the form but I never saw a new QSO displayed above the form in the version of CQRLOG that I have (2.3.0).
I run the app in Kubuntu 18.04.02 LTS. To see a list of new QSOs, I have to use the Show QSO LIst item in the file menu. Is this how it is supposed to behave or is there some sort of option to enable the small list above the new QSO form?

Running v2.3.0 for Ubuntu from the PPA. Looking for auto incrementing serial number fields or where to enable them. Not finding it. Please advise.
