Hi,
Could/would you add some new modes to the preference-band-frequencies tab? With the newer digital mode, like FT8, it seems impossible for the DX Cluster and DXCC statistics to properly recognize when you have worked an entity on a given band using a digital mode other than RTTY. For example, I have worked an entity on a given band using FT8, but the program sees that segment of the band as RTTY and any spot in DX Cluster on the normal FT8 segment of the band gets flagged as unworked/needed. Seems like FT8 would fall in the DIGI mode, but it doesn't seem to do that.
I am running my ham related software on a Linux system (Kubuntu 18.04).
I have a quite complex setup with a number of programs communicating with the rig either via rigctld if a program supports it or directly via a virtual serial multiplexer written in python.
In this setup cqrlog is not always running so I start rigctld independently and configure cqrlog not to start rigctld at start up. This is working fine a long as rigctld is not restarted while cqrlog is running or cqrlog is started before rigctld is running.
From this situation comes my wish:
Hello all,
As a great fan of linuxmint , i jumped on the LM19 train quick.....
I did a fresh install of LM19 on my main HAM pc, and after all the normal stuff I usually install, I installed CQRlog.
I used the install instructions on this site, adding the repository, updating and then installing CQRlog.
And i am happy to report that at least the basic functions seem to work out of the box :)
(will test some more, but i do not see anything going wrong, most software versions used, are the same as in LM18.3)

Why does CQ monitor show NA:QSL needed!! for Canada when the DXCC statistics in new QSO shows QLE on nearly every band I've worked Canada on?
I would also like to know what SQL statement is used for that DXCC statistic.

How does one go about changing the lotw_qsls field? I edited a QSO and all I changed was the signal report and the lotw_qsls changed from Y to blank.

I'm trying to install CQRLOG 2.3.0-1 on my Raspberry Pi 3B ver. 1.2. I'm using the
Raspberry Pi .deb package at https://www.cqrlog.com/download. I'm using Raspian 8.0 (jessie). When I install it, I get:
Hi All,
I worked KH1/KH7Z earlier on 20 meters FT8 and noticed when WSJT prompted me to log the QSO, the QSO was logged in CQRLog. I "thought" CQRLog had to be in remote mode in order for the WSJT QSO to be automatically logged? KH1/KH7Z calls CQ so seldom, I didn't bother with remote mode.

Hi,
I added 2 missing QSOs in offline mode, and after that, CQRLOG started to upload all my QSOs to clublog again. It is already running for hours. I don't dare to terminate CQRLOG.
CQRLOG is 2.3.0(001) on Kubuntu 18.04
Anybody seen this?

Hi, is there a way that I can program where the CQ Monitor goes to get data for stations?, I've noticed that CQ Monitor is displaying certain stations as located in a particular state in the US and when the qso is made I see that they are in a different location. As soon as I begin the qso, in the New Qso Window the correct information is displayed and often differs from what is shown in Cq Monitor.
Can I direct CqMonitor to look into QRZ.com for example?

I found following problem with cqrlog 2.3.0.
I get Access violation error after logging the QSO from wsjtx. I use wxjtx version 1.9.1.
Cqrlog version 2.2.0 works fine.
Here is a part of debug output:
WSJTX decode #5 logging now ended

Need help. Here are the facts:
- I have a Raspberry 3 Pi
- Running Linux in ARM
- I have CQRlog 2.2
- ssl-lib dev is up to date, I have the latest version
- If I export the log to a file I can perfectly sign and upload it thru Tqsl
- I can perfectly download the report from Lotw and import it in Cqrlog
But, I'm having problems uploading and downloading to LOTW.
When I try to upload to Lotw I get:
Error: -2
And when I try to download from Lotw I get:
Not Logged
Error: -2
Error:
Error: ssl_openssl
HI!
Somehow I have noticed that it is good way to search solutions from forum with google.
I do not know if I only have used to navigate with google search or does it really find things better that pages own search.
Just put first search word as cqrlog.com then word you are looking for (error messages etc...)
LIke:
cqrlog.com winkeyer
cqrlog.com Duplicate column name
cqrlog.com rigctld
and so on.
This seems to work better than using "site:cqrlog.com" like:
site:cqrlog.com winkeyer
system Linux Mint 18.3 cinnamon 64-bit
cinnamon 3.6.6
4.13.0-45-generic
All was ok before I update to cqrlog-2.3.0. Now the log shows the qso done before but when I want to log a new qso these messages appear :
"Database upgrade crashed with this error:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Duplicate column name 'rxfreq'
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Unknown column 'prop_mode' in 'field list'. "
And when I want to close the program there is this message :
"Q : Field not found : "RxFreq".
I want to use qrz.com for my callbook support. I have the XML subscription. But....
When I select it in the Preferences and close it reverts back to HamQTH.com.
Password and user id are correct.
Any ideas?

I get the following error when I try to launch:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.6), got (5.7).
I fixed it by removing libmysqlclient-dev. Cqrlog now starts & works fine (2.3).
Synaptic wont't let me remove it because Cqrlog depends on it. I went to the terminal and ran the following command:
sudo apt-get install libmariadbclient-dev-compat
It executed with some errors but removed libmysqlclient-dev.
Wish to download/install cqrlog onto my Ubuntu 16.04 system. Do I add OK2CQR's ppa to download all the files? Which files do I need? CQRLOG and HamLib from his PPA? There is a hamlib utilities file and now sure if that is also downloaded.
thanks

I am running on Raspberry Pi 3+
I am having trouble with downloading and uploading to LOTW.
LOTW software is already installed and works fine directly.
Hello,
I try the new version (2.3.0) binary version on a Slackware 14.2
(the 2.2 cqrlog version run without any problem)
but with 2.3 I got:
I tried a filter to see what I could come up with on the DXCC entities I've worked and sent a QSL to but haven't received one back. With the goal being to re-work the ones I need in order to get closer to making Challenge.
What column/field in cqrlog_main is dxcc_ref? I tried this from the SQL console and it fails since there is no column/field named dxcc_ref
select qsodate,time_on,callsign,band, dxcc_ref, lotw_qsls, lotw_qslr from cqrlog_main where lotw_qslr=""
Since last upgrade to 2.3.0(100) on Linux Mint 18.
On launch, I get an error report Q: Field not Found "RXFreq".
On exit I get an error report ...Database upgrade crashed with this error:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Duplicate column name 'rxfreq'
Was all working fine before the upgrade.

same error as on raspbian.
in rasbian deleting the file called lotw solves the problem ( until cqrlog creates that map again )....
sadly in debian 8 it looks that cqrlog on startup first recreates the map i delete and then servers me the same error again...
seems this software is all but happy to run on more than one linux distro.
if it stays as unstable i guess i will be better using a maybe not that complete software that is multiplatform ready or at least is willing to run decent on debian as i am no hero with linux and shure not a programmer.
How do I check to see if MySQL server is properly installed? I get a "Database Problem" error asking me to check if MySQL is installed properly.
I have pasted the last 20+ lines of my myqsl.err file as well.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I am using Slackware64-Current. I tried to compile carlog, 2.3.0, &, even though I had all the listed dependencies, the make died very quickly. I then repackaged your binary into a Slackware package & it seemed to work fine. But when I used it in remote mode for wsjtx, & it imported a contact, a window appeared announcing that the date was not formatted correctly. When I pressed the OK button in the warning window, the contact was erased from cqrlog, without giving the opportunity to fix the date. Packaging 2.2.0 & "upgrading" 2.3.0 with it solved the problem.
Hi,
up to version 2.1.0 everything worked fine. Since version 2.2.0 I always get a "crash" if I use the "page down" key to
"jump" to the last 1000 QSOs (2nd page). A little empty window appears in the middle of the screen and I can't do
anything except "killing" cqrlog.
If someone has an idea...
