Have been having a rough time getting LoTW working with CQRLog. Restarted my computer today and was told MySQL couldn't be started. Here's the last lines of the mysqr.err file:

Is anyone else having an issue with the propagation window not displaying again, or is it just me? I know there was an issue with it about a year ago and updating to 2.6.0 fixed the problem, but right now nothing has been displaying in my propagation window for the last few days.
Thanks!
VarAC qsos could not be imported via adif into cqrlog. According to ARRL mode is DYNAMIC with submode VARAC, VARAHF or VARAFM.
Think this should be fixed or do I make something wrong?

I was experiencing a problem when doing real-time Clublog uploads: if a QSO was rejected because the call format was unacceptable, then the program would get stuck and be unable to continue uploading. It would attempt to delete the QSO, but the QSO would not be found in Clublog. It would continue to try to delete the same nonexistent QSO every time a new QSO was entered.
Hallo,
about two years ago I swapped to UCXLof because I love to take part in Contests every now and than. UCXLog has a module to assist the operator in contests. This tool is really a really good one. But I'm missing cqrlog because its clear, easy to use and the most important thing is, that cqrlog is a linux software. Having said that, I think it's a pity that one has to run Windows software under WINE to have a software that assists the radio operator in contests as good as in "day to day logging".
Since a few days!
Incorrect behavior since a few days when CQRLOG automatically pushes QSOs to clublog.
I get ClubLog : Access denied
It looks like the same fault as earlier this year when CQRLOG had to be recompiled based on a patch from the CQRLOG development team.
Or is it my call/IP that is banned? Hi!
If anyone has the same problem, please let me know.
Best regards.

I have been using CQRLog for many years and ashamed to say I have just recently become concerned that DX spots and alerts may not be operating in the manner I thought they were. Most beginning DX operators have a highest priority of confirming contact on any band, any mode with each DX country. This is then followed either by getting each DX country on either every band or on every mode depending on the priorities of the operator. Up until recently I have believed the DX spot colors reflect those priorities but the concept of "QSL needed" now has me wondering if that is true.
Hi
When exporting contest data/qso’s to cabrillo file, the frequency’s is shown as 14.000 and not the exact frequency like 14.153.
It’s in the standard log header, which I can’t edit…
Does anyone else have this problem?
What can I do to fix it?

Hi all,
I have updated Cqrlog to version 2.6.0 (001) QT5 , MariaDB Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.3.38, Ubuntu 20.04.6. I exported the ADIF log from the previous version (2.5.2) which contained about 14000 qso..
Now in this version it loads only 2308!
Where did I make the mistake?
Can I delete log and try a new upload?
Tnx for any suggestion!
Giuliano in3klq
I use CQRLOG 2.5.2 with a laptop an a desktop pc, both running Ubuntu. The logs are in a central MariaDB database.
If I log a QSO with umlauts from my laptop and show this entry on this machine, all looks fine. But when I open this log entry from my PC, the umlauts will be displayed not correct. Both machines have the same caracter encoding. locale shows on both machines de_DE.UTF-8 for all entrys. The only difference ist "LANGUAGE"
Laptop: LANGUAGE=de_DE:en_GB:en
PC LANGUAGE=de_DE
Hello all,
I discovered a strange behaviour on my cqrlog 2.5.2 installation. Checking "Clear RIT after saving QSO" mutes my receiver after hitting the enter key for saving a QSO. Clicking on the button does no harm.
Experienced this behaviour on two different setups, one at home one at school.
Any ideas what causes this? A bug or is it my setups? Is there anything I can check?
Tnx in advance,
Wolfgang, DJ4QV
Hi

I am using CQRLog on Ubuntu Studio 20.04.01LTS, and already works fine for two years. Of course, it is upgraded to lastest.

Good evening,
I am using version 2.6.0 (113) GtK2 and everything is ok. I also appreciate the possibility of being able to use several transceivers. But I have a question to ask. I'm trying to use frequency lists in .csv formats from: http://http://www.eibispace.de/ and import them to CQrlog (TRX control / preferences / Add.modify memories). Unfortunately the csv format is not compatible. Is there a possibility to adapt the csv format to make it usable by CQrlog?..
73's everyone!
I hope you can help me with my little problem...
I wanted to correct some of my qso that I made wrong, while registering the qso, the dxcc country.
For example I have put IQ0PM as Italy instead of Sardinia.. etc.. now I edit the qso, I correct the error and save the qso, nothing changes.. it always returns Italy, as well as with other qso. Where am I wrong?
Tnx for all your suggestions!
My version of Cqrlog is 2.5.2 (001) Ubuntu 20.04.5

Hi !
It is good to know following:
When I try to export contest-logs to edi, I receive an error "" is an invalid integer.
In my opinion, all fields are properly filled.
Which fields are checked?
How to find the cause?
Regards,
Johann OE5JWL
I found a missing letter in the prefixes of the grid entries, which solved the error.
But still the message in the bottom of the export window shows a wrong number of exported log entries - it is always 10, regardless of the entries really exported.
I am guessing no one else has ever had this problem because when I search I get nothing.
I installed CQRLOG on a SSD drive that boots my raspberry pi running Debian. I installed CQRLOG from the pi lookup in preferences. Install appeared to go well, configured preferences and called it a day. Restarted the raspberry pi to configure wsjtx and found rigctld not working. When I went to the TRX preference page I found that my radio type (IC-7300) was missing. When I went to reselect it ALL the radio definitions are gone. Restart didn’t help, reinstall worked till I rebooted the pi and then all the definitions were gone. Installed by compiling latest Hamlib. Didn’t help.

I have installed cqrlog with the ppa repository.
That's went fine , but the layout i get is so different as when you look at the screenshots on this webpage .
A lot of fields are too big and mask some other items.
Here is my system:
Linux Lite 5.8 ( a ubuntu focal flavour)
Desktop Xfce
uname - a gives me :
Linux on4aol-HP-EliteDesk-800-G3-SFF 5.4.0-139-generic #156-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 20 17:27:18 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Is this a known problem ? Could is be the desktop Xfce ?

Hello,
I had a Hard Lock on my System and had to kill some running processes, including CQRLOG. It had found a new DXCC Table before and Download and Install was done. But after this hard kill, CQRLOG now founds a "new" DXCC Table on every Start and want to to Install it. How to clean this Issue with the Data Base?

Was not working but tried reentering password. Which I have done several times and now working.
Can passwords be set to view instead of just showing dots?
