Hi all,
I have had this problem for quite a while now. Uploading to EQSL goes just fine but downloading fails every time.
Somehow it's not related to my EQSL login because I have changed my password over and over again. Tried even the simplest passwords using no special characters, numbers or even capitals. But to no avail.
The window in CQRLog tells me that EQSL found nu such user/password.
The same login works fine on the website itself. Any clues?
Edit:
Hi,
I've installed CQRLOG Ver. 1.9.1 on a new computer, imported all my qso and everything works fine. But not the upload to LoTW. Wenn I click on the Upload-Button my qso are sent to LoTW and I get the following text:
----------------
Uploading file ...
Size: 2038
File was rejected with this error:
ARRL's Logbook of the World
jQuery( document ).tooltip();
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
dlgLOTW.ready();
});
Hi Petr,
after changing from Windows 7 to Linux (Debian), I switched from HAMOffice to CQRLOG. Your software is great, congratulations and thank you!
Would it be possible to add a world map in the DXCC statistics window in a future version of CQRLOG? It is not an important option, but it would be very nice.

Hi Petr,
Over the last couple of days I have had some FreeDV QSO's. This digital voice mode is becoming more popular and I wondered if it needed a "mode" added to CQRLog to accomodate it? I did not really know how to classify the mode as CQRLog stands at present.

Hello,
I'm compiling cqrlog Version 1.9.1 from source with lazarus 1.4.4(FPC Version 2.6.4). System is openSuse 13.1.
I'm getting an error, that the file mysql56dyn is missing (used my mysqlconn.inc line 18).
Compile started in lazarus with "clean up and compile" ('Aufräumen und kompilieren', have german version, don't know the englich translation for the menu).
Version 1.8.3 compiles fine.
Where can I get the missing file (install additionaly packages) ?
Jürgen
Hello,
Has anyone tested CQRLOG with any of the Alpha / Beta releases of Ubuntu 16.04 yet? Does anyone know if the official CQRLOG PPA will be updated once the LTS final has been released?
I'm running 15.10 here but plan to move over to 16.04 once it's released in a couple of weeks.

Hi Petr,
In fDatabaseUpdate.pas I see these lines:
begin
DoUpgrade;
Sleep(1000);
dmData.qCallBook.Next
end;
Is there any reason to have the update wait 1s between lookups? With a large log import, this can take a really long time cumulatively.
I checked QRZ's API documentation, I didn't see any speed restrictions.

Mike
We have new testing version ready for download. This is probably the last testing version before I release final version of CQRLOG.
I've created both 32bit and 64bit versions.

Changelog:
Hi,
I have seen in the FAQ's that:
"log is stored in ~/.config/cqrlog where ~ means your home directory
e.g. my log is in /home/ok2cqr/.config/cqrlog, ok2cqr is my user name
Is there any way to change that.?
I would like to store it at:
/home/dave/cqrlog
I like to keep all my user generated file in one place,
makes for easy backups of one location.
Thanks / 73 / Dave
Out of the blue CQRlog crashed (honestly, was just inputting QSL data) and now nothing works. No logs to choose from. Says can't connect to database. Tried this thread: https://www.cqrlog.com/node/1296 but it won't connect to the database for a dump:
(mysqldump: Got error: 2002: "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/home/hans/.config/cqrlog/database/sock' (2)" when trying to connect).
Any other suggestions for a fix appreciated (been busy for three hours with this. Kind of exhausted now).
I'm running the latest 1.9.1 and like it very much... Thanks! But the problem I reported a year ago is still present: keyboard CW using cwdaemon is impossible.
This is the output from typing "probably not": PRPROBABLYNOTO and here's "how is this working?": HOHOHOWISTHOWISTHISWORKING?HWW (I was using "word mode, first word in letter mode.")
Wondering if someone could look at this for me and see any problems.

I am using CQRLOG v1.7.3 with Ubuntu 14.04.LTS
I'm new to linux but I have install CQRLOG but it says fatal error with mysqld it wants me to run mysqld as root.
Can someone walk me through this.
Thanks
Mike
I see that LoTW and eQSL confirmed QSOs can be included in the DXCC stats and new country info.
I upload to LoTW and eQSL, but only want LoTW confirmed QSOs to be counted.
How can I do this?
I have successfully changed to using an external MySQL database rather than the db that comes with CQRLOG. This is working fine, however when I first set it up I connected to the database using the root user. I now wna tot change to a new user I have created called cqrlog. When I fire up CQRLog it asks for the db username and password, to now saves the cqrlog user I have created but the password seems to be stuck with the origional root password, so each time I start up CQRLog I have to retype the password.
since the version 1.9.1
The function se above give as return follows
--------------------------------------------
ERROR: : Error executing query: Cannot truncate a table referenced in a foreign key constraint (`cqrlog003`.`log_changes`, CONSTRAINT `log_changes_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`id_cqrlog_main`) REFERENCES `cqrlog003`.`cqrlog_main` (`id_cqrlog_main`))
--------------------------------------------
du you have a idea why???.. in the version 1.9.0 this all run

CHANGELOG:
Hi everyone,
I'm still a noob when it comes to Linux. I have been using CQRLOG on a Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon PC for about 2 months. In my set up, I have a dual boot PC. Windoze 7 and Linux Mint, as I'm sure MANY others have the exact same set up too.
Hi!
Just trying to get my old log into CQRLog, but can't do it.
There is no "IMPORT" under "File" or anywhere else.
Beginner in CQRLog and been working whith Ubuntu on and of.
Now there have been some time seens I used it (Ubuntu).
Running Ubuntu 15.10 and CQRLog 1.9.0
Please help, Howto?
I am running the latest cqrlog beta on Ubuntu 14.04.
Now I installed wsjtx 1.6 and tried the new wsjtx remote feature in cqrlog.
I seems to work, but I can not find out what the "workflow" is supposed to be.
cqrlog is configured to get all possible data from wsjtx.
cqrlog displays "wsjtx connection" above the call sign and switches to offline mode.
If I answer to a CQ, the call sign of the called station is appearing in cqrlog, name and other info is fetched from the call book, same way as manual callsign entry.
Could it be possible add automatic action to eqsl cfm? When I download data from eqsl, confirmations could be seen in dxcc stat. I know, that ARRL does not accept these confirmations, but that's their problem. For me, I accept them. Like Qsl Received E.
